1. Funny. Heaven is also filled with majority woman. Yet you don't mention that. Hypocrisie and lies exposed. You are done. Al-Qadi ‘Iyad said: ظَاهِرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّ النِّسَاءَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ الْآخَرِ أَنَّهُنَّ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ قَالَ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَجْمُوعِ هَذَا أَنَّ النِّسَاءَ أَكْثَرُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ “This tradition demonstrates that women are the majority of the people of Paradise, and in another tradition that they are a majority of the people of Hellfire. What can be deduced from them together is that women are the majority of the children of Adam.” [Source: Sharḥ al-Nawawī ‘alá Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2834] Ibn Taymiyyah commented: “This is because there are more women than men; it is authenticated that they will be the majority of the population of Hellfire, and it is also authenticated that every man from the people of Paradise will have two wives from the human women, excluding the Hoor al’Ayn. That is because from those who are in Jannah, the women will be more; and similarly, in Hellfire, because more of them [women] were created.” 2. Your argument doesn't disprove islam. Heaven or hell having more woman is due to woman being created more in mankind which is Gods decree. So you should be happy he created more woman. Those whom go to hell is oit of their own choice! And likewise those who go to heaven have chosen it. But nothing changes. Even if hell was filled with 100% woman it still wouldn't disprove anything. So stop making emotional subjective fake arguments.

You made the right choice brother. Justice, judgement, mercy and truth are all brought into harmony at the cross of Christ. In Christ God is both just and justifier. A while back, I commented on a video regarding freewill and predestination on a Muslim KZbin channel. The best analogy that I could use to try and explain the flawed concept of freewill is the following. You can think of Allah as the author of a fiction novel. The author is all-powerful because anything he wants to actualize in the novel he can simply decree with his pen. The author is all-knowing because he already knows everything that will take place page-to-page, cover-to-cover. As for the characters in the book they can only know what is happening to them on any given page. They will not know their future, but they can reflect on their past. If the author does not like something, they can simply modify, delete or add to their novel. It is not a perfect analogy but I think it does a good job explaining Islam in a nutshell. As expected, I got push back from the Muslim’s on the channel telling me it is perfectly rational to believe that you choose your own path despite god knowing your past, present and future to 100% accuracy even before you were born. The biggest thing I have learned is that it is not evidence, questioning or rationality that helps people to see through their religious convictions. The prerequisite for disbelief is actually courage. “Courage is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation”( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Courage). In simple English, courage is the willingness to face your fears. Most Muslims continue to believe because they are afraid of what comes with disbelief. “What will happen to me after my death?”, “Will I see my loved ones again?” etc. The existential crisis that comes with such questions is truly terrifying. So instead of listening to the alternate view points most Muslims involve themselves in echo chambers and confirmation bias. Me personally, one day I had the courage to listen to Matt Dillahunty and Aron Ra. The rest I shall say is history. I realized that atheist and atheism is not scary and I came to terms with the possibility that there is nothing after death. If Muslims are to change they need courage to face their fears first.
@TheOrthodoxAlbanian3 жыл бұрын
Us not having the knowledge of what will happen to us in the future is irrelevant (literally there is no correlation) as this does not respond to the point that the past, present, and future are still all predestined by Allāh. We are literally robots enacting out a divine script, irrelevant of what we do not know, which eventually for many, ends with billions going to hellfire for eternity. Allah is without a doubt the most sadistic monotheistic deity in modern day religion. This dude created all his subjects destined for hell for not believing in him straight away from the beginning of creation, but how can anyone believe in him when the Quran states itself that he gets to decide in your head whatever to believe him or not. He gets to choose whoever gets to believe in him and due to Islamic mythology, this guy is all-powerful and since he is all-powerful, he can easily do this, but what's the point? Does he enjoy watching people suffer and secretly get off to it? And the worst part is he demands eternal worship from you when you probably won't even have the capability to decide whatever to worship him or not because he already decided your fate way ahead of time, so he's basically playing with you like a toy.

Thank you for this clear and accessible video. When I undertook the gruelling task of reading the Koran years ago (there was so much rhetoric bandied about, I needed to read it and decide for myself) the inconsistencies and contradictions were evident (not to mention the garbled, disorganized and repetitive nature of the text itself), but it was always difficult to explain this to others. This video goes to the heart of the matter, beyond the Koran to the ideas underlying it. Definitely a video I will share widely. The time stamps are a great idea!

I wouldnt say theyre comparable due to Islamic and Christian beliefs on hell, though i want to make one thing clear; predestination and double predestination seems like a stupid distinction. No matter what, an omniscient and omnipotent God formed the world knowing the exact outcome and who will be saved and who will be damned so matter which way you put it, God in essence creates the elected and reprobates regardless since his knowledge is infinite, and thats why im calvinist. One thing that i do disagree with is limited atonement; there is plenty passages that point towards Universalism although not in the sense that all paths lead to God but rather all will eventually lead to repentance, even in the afterlife. Some very prominent church fathers (origen i know for sure) held this view and can be backed up with scripture. The word "eternal" in greek used to just mean of an age, not forever. Thats one difference between us and islam, and also the idea that God doesnt send people to hell, but disbelievers choose sin over God, which puts them in hell more of their own will unlike Allah, who does put sinners in hell personally

@@hindurashtra63 Few things: 1. Mahabharata is a Smriti, which is understood to be a text not divinely inspired. Though it is an Itihasa, which means that Hindus believe it is a legitimate historical account. Still, it does not have the same problem as Islam does, since it is not considered to be the literal, verbatim speech of God (which makes any scientific mistake automatically disprove the entire religion). 2. Even if Mahabharata was Shruti, that still is not analogous to the literal, word-for-word, speech of God that Islam claims the Qur'an is. Any layer of human revelation or realization permits for apologetics based on "how the human author of the time understood the world". 3. Calling the earth a "Chakra" does not imply "the Sun sets in a muddy spring at night".

Ex muslim here. Another thing that doesn’t make sense is having to pray 5 times a day to Almighty Allah. Why would the Almighty God, ruler of all universe and time want tiny billion humans to pray to him, worship to him just to acknowledge his existence? To tell him he is the Greatest, the Most Merciful etc. Is he an insecure God or something? A sadistic insecure God that is. Also what is the real purpose of life then if we don’t have any freewill to do anything we want and decide our own path and faith? I find it stupid that we are brought into this world just for the sole purpose of worshipping to ‘Almighty’ Insecure Allah. We can’t do this, we can’t do that. This is haram that is haram. What’s the point of living then? Just to worship to Allah and avoid Hell?
@TheOrthodoxAlbanian3 жыл бұрын
If God does indeed exist, then He can ask of you whatever He requires, for He is the one that has given you the ability to see, hear and taste. He has granted you this life of yours, so where is the issue in then glorifying the same God that has blessed you with such things? As Christians, we believe that God created the universe because He is love, and wants us to share in that love with Him. There is free-will in Christianity whilst there is not in Islām. In your line of reasoning, you presume for the argument that if God was to exist, then what is the purpose of life, “Just to worship” and, “avoid Hell?”. Clearly, if God was to exist (as a presupposition), then we must enact our lives according to His will. I think the impression that I am getting is that you have an issue with having somebody above you, and that you do not want to feel, ‘restricted’. You need to understand that Christians are not telling you to subject yourself to somebody that wants harm for you, but to the One that created you. He knows what is best for you. Christians believe that this world is under the dominion of Satan after disobedience occurred in the Garden of Eden (a sin which introduced death to mankind). This is why we come across a lot of degeneracy and filth in this world, things which go against the all-Holy God that is the complete opposite of unholiness and sin, as the Earth is under the dominion of Satan. So you may not want to subject yourself to God, the One that loves you, but you have already been subjected to Satan. Our Lord Jesus Christ breaks us away from this, and He did this when He lived throughout all ages from His early years as a child, to a teenager, and mature adult, which is what allows for all mankind to be saved. He then was crucified (which was a fulfilment of Messianic prophecies and typologies that were written thousands of years before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and Muhammad), descended to Hades so that He can get the key of Death and Hades and resurrected. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us this key within our human nature so that we are no longer subject to Satan and death, but so that we are reconciled back to Him, back to that original state that Adam and Eve were in (in the Garden of Eden before the fall). Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them”. So it was intended for us to be made perfect, in His likeness. Check this video out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKS0g31tmd2AgLc I made mention of the Gospel message and of a few Biblical characters which I would assume you won’t accept as of now as you are an atheist/agnostic. I understand your skepticism. However, I made it clear that there have been many, many, countless Messianic prophecies and typologies fulfilled in the divine Messiah. This is one of many strong attestations to the truth-claims of the Bible. Look into these with an open mind my brother. @محبالحقيقة3 жыл бұрын
The verse in Arabic makereen it doesn't mean a de-ciever but a one who plans because if you read the verse it talks about how planned to save Jesus from the cro-ss It is verse 8:30 Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah. Look for ibn kathir tafsir as well
@nigelbrayshaw27093 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is indeed Surah Al-Anfal 8:30 The English translations often soften it on Allah's behalf when describing Allah, they will translate the same word as 'deceive', 'scheme', 'scheming' 'plot' when refering to Allah's antagonists, but for Allah it is more often 'plan' which of course just sounds clever, artistic and constructive. However, some scriptures which often escape under the apologist's radar such as the early tafsirs are less positive towards Allah's scheming personality. Also for what it's worth, copy/paste the verse into google translate if you like, the first part of the aya will have to be cropped to accomodate - this is what you will find "To prove you, or to kill you, or to drive you out and to disdain and deceive God And God is the best of the deceivers" The Muslim apologist will invariably give us the softer translation, that being 'plan' and 'planner' when refering to Allah's actions but more often than not the translation will use (for the same arabic word) 'plot' 'deceive' 'schemer' 'plotter' for those who allegedly 'plotted' and 'deceived' Muhammad and Allah. The normal double standards apply and apologists here do Allahs bidding to deceive us in respect of the translation.

🔥 Well Daymn! I've written a lot about the significant theological differences between Christianity and Islam. (I'm an atheist so I don't think either is "true." I'm just fascinated by how much Christianity deviated from Judaism, and how much Islam deviated from Christianity - when many Americans see them as functionally similar.) But the issue AP discusses here sounds more like Christianity than anything I've learned about Islam so far - specifically, Calvinist (or Reform) Christianity. In the 1500s, John Calvin decided that "God picked those whom he will save and bring with him to Heaven before the world was created. They also believe that those people God does not save will go to Hell." For some bizarre reason, this grotesque idea caught on. In the US, Calvinism evolved into the Presbyterian, Primitive Baptists, Reformed and UCC, representing millions of Americans. All the questions you asked about Islam apply to Calvinism as well. IT MAKES NO SENSE.

The issue of free-will in Islam: Islam teaches that Allah has already predestined and willed our lives (therefore we had no control or say over what we would do), so we are essentially enacting Allah’s divine script (and our lack of knowledge of what acts we will do is irrelevant to the fact that what Allah has written for us WILL STILL OCCUR) there is no escape from Allah’s divine will, because it is superior to our human will. Therefore, we cannot do anything in this life that can trump what Allah already had in store for us (which he already decided over 50,000 years ago), that being the acts that we commit, and our abode in Jannah or Jahannam. In Surah an-Nisa, ayah 88, it says that people are misguided and fall into disbelief because of Allah. He (arkasahum) or “casted us” with these acts of disobedience which led to our disbelief. Why does Allah do this? His reasoning is given in the ayah, because of, “what they have earned”, (the acts of disobedience, which goes AGAIN back to Allah, for it was Allah that made us partake in these acts in the first place). It is a never ending circle. Allah’s reasoning for our disbelief is him causing us to disbelief - where does that leave me when wanting to try and attain Jannah? What if Allah has willed a certain act/thought for me later in my life, after 30, 40 or so more years of being a good and pious Muslim, which would then lead me to hellfire? A few verses around this topic: Surah 10, ayah 99-100: “And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers? And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah’s permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand.”, so Allah could have guided us all to be believers, but he chose to will some people to be believers and for some people to not be disbelievers. How is this in any way fair? Even given the scenario of a child dying (before their rationale has developed), provided that the Islamic worldview is correct, how is it fair for Allah to have took the life of this young child, not allowing him to live his life to commit sins? Why did he not do the same for me, or for you? Why do some people have advantages, and some others have disadvantages? Surah 7, ayah 178: “Whomsoever Allah guides, he is the one who follows the right way; and whomsoever He causes to err, these are the losers.”, thus Allah can guide and misguide whomsoever he wants. It is not down to us - what we think or do, is ultimately because of Allah. Surah al-Fatir (35), ayah 8: “Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.”, again, Allah sends, “astray whom He wills” and Allah also makes our evil deeds seem, “attractive”, again, so that we can be misguided. How is that fair? Did we choose to be in the way we are now, to think and act in the way we are now, for Allah to increase us in our evil deeds, and then ultimately punish us in hellfire because of it? Now going onto hellfire, take into context the above-mentioned verses, and now also take into context this ayah found in Surah 32, ayah 13: “If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, “I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together.”, here Allah is clear in stating that he had the choice of making everybody on Earth believe, but opted in for the option of guiding some, and misguiding others. What is Allah’s justification for this? So that his, “Word” (promise” can, “come true” (be fulfilled) - this being to fill men and jinn in hellfire. What can we do to stop ourselves from falling into such a damned fate?

So how can I believe in Islam? It goes one step further, saying that everybody had no choice in being created to exist within this universe in the first place, as is said in Surah al-A’raf, ayah 172: “And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have testified." [This] - lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware”. Thereby, the fact that we exist, means that we have already accepted Allāh many, many years ago already, and if we were to reject Him, we burn in an eternal fire. To break this down, provided that Islam is true in its claims, which includes the claim of there being an eternal punishment, how is it just for a God to place his creation into a universe, which they again, 1: Are under compulsion to be in (as they never had any option of choosing to exist and not to exist) and, 2: With the infinite knowledge that Allah has, why did He deliberately choose to create the human weak (4:28) so that we can be attracted to temptations and sins, which are obstacles to our salvation? To add more of what I said above, Islam states that Allāh has written the qadr (destiny) of everybody 50,000 years before they have even existed, of whether they will be punished in an eternal hell or rewarded in an eternal paradise. To think about this more critically, what seems to be apparent is that Allāh has created billions of people from within our human race (from among those that disbelieve) for no reason whatsoever but to only, 1: Mislead the believers and, 2: To be fuel for the fire (66:6)? Would a just God not have made such people at all? What is the benefit of such people? Why would Allah create humans that He will deliberately mislead, with seals placed on their hearts? Narrated `Abdullah: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), the truthful and truly-inspired, said, "Each one of you collected in the womb of his mother for forty days, and then turns into a clot for an equal period (of forty days) and turns into a piece of flesh for a similar period (of forty days) and then Allah sends an angel and orders him to write four things, i.e., his provision, his age, and whether he will be of the wretched or the blessed (in the Hereafter). Then the soul is breathed into him. And by Allah, a person among you (or a man) may do deeds of the people of the Fire till there is only a cubit or an arm-breadth distance between him and the Fire, but then that writing (which Allah has ordered the angel to write) precedes, and he does the deeds of the people of Paradise and enters it; and a man may do the deeds of the people of Paradise till there is only a cubit or two between him and Paradise, and then that writing precedes and he does the deeds of the people of the Fire and enters it." The mother of the believers, 'Aishah, said: "One of the children of the Ansar (who had died) was brought to the Messenger of Allah so he prayed for him." 'Aishah said: "How fortunate he is, one of the little birds of Paradise. He never did any evil or reached the age of puberty." He said: "It is better not to say anything, O 'Aishah Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, created Paradise and created people for it, He created them in the loins of their fathers. And He created Hell and created people for it, and He created them in the loins of their fathers." Ubadah b. al Samit said to his son: “Son! You will not get the taste of the reality of faith until you know that what has come to you could not miss you, and that what has missed you could not come to you. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say”: ‘The first thing Allah created was the pen. He said to it: Write. It asked: What should I write, my Lord? He said: Write what was decreed about everything till the Last Hour comes.’ Son! I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘He who dies on something other than this does not belong to me.” Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying: “Adam and Moses held a disputation. Moses said: ‘Adam you are our father. You deprived us and caused us to come out from Paradise.’ Adam said: ‘You are Moses Allah chose you for his speech and wrote the Torah for you with his hand. DO YOU BLAME ME FOR DOING A DEED WHICH ALLAH HAD DECREED THAT I SHOULD DO FORTY YEAR BEFORE HE CREATED ME?’ So Adam got the better of Moses in argument.” ‘Imran b, Husain told of two men of Muzaina who said: “Messenger of God, tell us whether WHAT MEN DO TO-DAY and strive over is something WHICH HAS BEEN DESTINED FOR THEM AND HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN DECREED FOR THEM, or whether it is something their prophet has brought them with which they are encountered and which has become binding upon them.” He replied, “No, IT IS SOMETHING WHICH HAS BEEN DECREED FOR THEM AND PREVIOUSLY DECREED FOR THEM.” The verification of that is found in God’s Book which says, “By a soul and Him who formed it and implanted in it its wickedness and its piety.” Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: “Verily ALLAH HAS FIXED THE VERY PORTION OF ADULTERY WHICH A MAN WILL INDULGE IN, and which HE OF NECESSITY MUST COMMIT. The adultery of the eye is the lustful look, and the adultery of the tongue is the licentious speech, the heart desires and yearns, which the parts may or may not put into effect.” Reading the above ahadīth, we can come to the understanding that if it is not possible for people to behave in any other different way for their destiny to be altered (as Allah has already written their destiny), and that this destiny will come to pass and override the acts of what people shall do in their lives, the reality therefore is that every person is then just a robot acting out a divine script. Everything is up to Allah. Hence, Allah is the reason that many people choose to doubt in the truthfulness of Islam and disbelieve. It is Allah that has always wanted us to be disbelievers. It is Allah that has always wanted to punish us with an eternal punishment in hellfire. But who knows, do not lose hope, Allah may have also written for you to become a practicing Salafi before you die!
