Isn't it amazing how much we are blessed by this man's knowledge and experience, and humor. I love his honesty (the book - Rick Warren and the yacht) (the Lottery) (the friends and the forgotten poor). Yes, the more you have, the more distractions you have to tend to. As for security look at Job, it can all be wiped out in a day - we need to look no further than the possibility of hyperinflation. Money can become as worthless as monopoly money. It's always the latest and greatest, here today, gone tomorrow. Eurodollar, cryptocurrency, and on and on. Our dependence should not be in a bank, or a stock market that can crash. It should not be in silver or gold, or in IRA's or 401k's. The righteous have never gone hungry while trusting the Lord. We are very fortunate. Amen, remember the sweet memory that God gave us a moment to enjoy and remember. Each day it's warm I sit out by the pool for 12 to 24 minutes, It is a sweet memory in the rush of every day that God cares and loves us so much, He does not forget the things we may enjoy, so long as we do not enjoy them out of order. If He is honored and 1st in all, one would be surprised how kind God is to us, rich or poor. Love you brother Darryl, thanks for sharing with us.
