Just another example of this great man's talent. Such clever thoughtful lyrics beautifully performed. Some of my favourite music artist performing with my favourite poet, writer, humanitarian, teacher, campaigner, speaker of truth and Brummie. The world will never see his like again.

He probably did! This song is all I can think of whenever I see him in Peaky Blinders! I hope you guys make more of this amazing music. The Imagined Village is a fantastic entry point to Folk music, whenever people say "oh, how did you get into folk?" I point them in your direction and then they inevitably get into folk too! It's not just how great the music is, you can follow the members into all kinds of traditional and folk music and everyone can find something they like. Ok, sometimes I direct them to The Decemberists, but that's about 10% of the time if it feels like a better option for the particular person.

Wow! I'm a Celtic fan. And a fan of Ravi Shankar and Srinivas. And a traditional folk fan. And an Malian fan. And a rock fan. And a jazz fan. Not so much a rap fan. Big Shakti and Martin Carthy fan. This is outstanding, creative, impressive, beautiful. Thanks to the players and thanks to ukevids.

Just superb. I wanna be in that band! I'll have to be content with watching them shine with a big sloppy grin on my face. Andy Gangadeen is just brilliant. Love his work with The Bays too. Great posting.

Hey Kevin! Sheila was very protective of her time and energy, and while she was happy to sing backing on the odd thing preferred her appearances to be special events, given the “star treatment”, as it were. X
