Great Video, Nitrates in groundwater is the greatest challenge for agriculture, to be fair Dairy farmers were not the first to introduce irrigation and nitrogen fertilizers, the cropping farmers did in the the 70s and 80s, but generally on heavy soils. the failure of cropping in canterbury opened the door to dairy much of which is on light leachable soils, thanks for sharing
