leadership should be meritocratic. nothing to do with identity. if women are genuinely suppressed than i agree they shouldn't. but to give a role to someone just because shes a woman or shes xyz rather than merit. bring margaret thatcher, golda meir or ayn rand on and no one will have an issue.

Y'all keep it up. Keep on chugging that Intersectional Junction. Kamala Harris was a genuinely awful candidate who was a DEI hire for VP with the lowest modern approval rating for that position. Her rise in politics was clearly tethered to her sexual relationships with powerful men like Willie Brown who gave her her first two state board positions and used his San Francisco network of oligarchs and socialites to get her into the DA and then AG office. She was NOT a good DA or AG and in 8 years as Alameda county prosecutor, only executed 8 cases. 1 case per year, while she retained her two state board "no-show" jobs that increased her annual income by over $400k. Like I said, keep talking into the wind about critical gender theory. The rest of us are moving on and getting the system back to a meritocracy that works regardless of intersectional positionality.

Doesn't it undermine their ability to lead and lead well if a focus is brought to race and gender rather skill?
