Remember Russia CHOSE to withhold gas from Europe, its greatest cash cow. It hard to think of a more disastrous act of economic self-harm. And now with the United States and Europe finally turning the screw on Russian banks, the rouble is in freefall. For the last 2 years Russia circumvented sanctions by opening banks in India and China but that loophole is now closed. No wonder Putin is now talking about a ceasefire. He's getting desperate.

China dooes not want more dependency on Russia as they tend to diversify their energy sources. They want the amount of gas and oil they are getting from Russia like now, but for subsidised prices.

Just a thing that I think China miscalculated (or I have incorrect information). Prior to war (when Russia data were more complete and trustworthy) the Russian government was actually selling gas to his citizen at a loss (I saw some video here running the calculation but was more than 1 year ago and I cannot remember what channel was). This could be inferred by Russia budget in past years. So as much as Russia is desperate to sell gas, I fail to see the incentive to accept the Chinese deal. I think that one of the two party has incorrect information about the other.

Just a suggestion. Zoom out or use a wider video format on your phone (or whatever you are using to record this) and then use some off the shelf video stabilizer software to cut down the frame size and center the video so your audience isn’t bouncing around with the camera as much. It will help your presence a bunch!
