A huge THANKYOUUUU to the super sexy & always inspiring Dr Garth Davis for putting as MUCH energy, enthusiasm & intensity into this lecture for a pathetic amount of participants...(25 people??? are u kidding me???)... as he would for a huge stadium chockablock full! i reckon if only one person turned up, he STILL wouldnt phone it in. Love this guy! During the week I shoot for at least 30 minutes of exercise 4 times a week. If not I will squeeze 15 minutes of some type of movement. Be it jog in place, different walking exercises or light weightvlifting while cooking dinner. Weekends is when I can do hour long workouts. Because I have time. If I miss a couple days I don't stress over it. I know I am making an effort and that is what counts.

Does anyone have any advice for controlling constant hunger from weights/cardio? I lost 90 pounds on a high carb low fat vegan diet and started weights again around a year ago, am down almost 10% body fat. I can see a difference in how I look but I get no confirmation from the scale anymore and I feel my body is trying to hold onto every last pound at this point. Any tips for macros, consistency, and things to eat to control hunger to prevent slip ups would be great 🙏🏻

Russet potatoes are very high glycemic. So much so, that I don't eat them. I do eat purple potatoes and sweet potatoes on occasion... You should always pair potatoes with lower glycemic foods that contain tons of fiber and resistant starch, as Dr. Davis mentions here with black beans. 05:35 And since potatoes are not as nutritionally dense, salad greens and other more nutritious veggies should be preferentially eaten...

Hello Dr. Garth, My wife (46 y.o.) needs to gain weight safely. We don't count calories per se, but she metabolises food so quickly, that at 46 weighs 95lbs and is 5' 4" and she has always complained about being skinny. The family doctor says her weight is fine, but she is losing hope in the whole PBWF lifestyle. She is she is currently breastfeeding our vegan son, and has done so throughout her time of going PBWF. But she often complains of still being hungry, but since we don't count calories. How to move forward and what should be her goal for safe daily caloric intake and what food groups should the nutrition be coming from? Thank you, In Health.

Plants don't want to be eaten" is a completely unverifiable claim that Bart Kay and other carnivores continue to profess. How is it possible that anyone, including Bart Kay, could possibly know what plants want or don't want? The awareness of plants is on a completely different spectrum than humans or even animals. What apparatus do plants use to form attitudes or feelings that would allow them to "want" something? I'm surprised that a scientist of his credentials would even consider it a possibility. Statements like that make the gaps in his understanding of biological functions evident. Please stop affording these carnivores, who are desperately trying to confuse people about the benefits of plants, any credibility. I'm asking this of you, Klaus, and all of the other opinion leaders in the pant based community.

oils are a killer? well how about all the asians who have used some oil for well over a of years with no problems and no weight gain, all fit and healthy, well not the ones of course who follow the western diet, but the old 80 year old women in the village working the rice fields using oil when she stir fries, also the med diet has served many really well, and that has quite a bit of olive oil, a lot of these plant based doctors are has worse has other doctors, with the dogmatic closed minded view, and no there isn't a one diet for all, or just a plantbased diet for all, this is bullshit, i've ben plantbased for 12 years and will not buy into just because its not profitable and fashionable, even the bill gates owned WHO say its suitable for all ages, but it doesn't say optimum for al, ages ummmmm I wonder why? One of the biggest reasons why these so called vegans fail is due to 1, lack of education 2, eating lots of junk which many do and 3, low percentage of raw veggies.4, to low fat, fat is super important , but when you have these almost old school fat haters in a lot of these plantbased doc then you have the brainwashing experience again. Do not blindly follow a diet, find what works for you, and if its not a 100% plant based but it works for you, then do that, do not endanger your health by blindly following the blind.

ESPECIALLY since he is a practicing medical professional. So, I appreciated his desire to have that happen, but I didn't expect it because it's not practical.
