I totally agree, Eckhart keeps things very simple yet shares his understanding in a very informative and quiet often funny way that makes learning from him fun. People follow Eckhart for different reasons, some for his spiritual beliefs and others like myself for his inherited understanding of the human mind and how and why many of us, (if not all at times ) can struggle in our relationship with it. Personally i have learned an awful lot from Eckhart about my own mind and of course everyone else's that years later i still put to good use, he has a wonderful way of presenting the same teachings as others but in a much more simpler to understand and enjoyable to watch way 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sometimes, you need to overcomplicate things because they are really complicated beyond us. There are different levels of knowing, and it is not about "they" are overcomplicating things, and we are so simple. Wow. we are good. Others are over and complicated. Things are overcomplicated because they should be overcomplicated, sometimes. If you over-simplify things, it can be dangerous, too. Anything can confuse me. Physics, mathematics, medicine, law theories. It is easy for things to confuse me. Playing piano can confuse me a lot, too, quite often. Anything can. Sometimes, when I paint, I research proper ways and techniques, yeah it can confuse me easily. It is natural.
@JonasAnandaKristiansson2 жыл бұрын
Just because your particular mind gets confused or overwhelmed, doesn't imply other teachers complicating things. Anyway, yes, Eckhart's simplicity is lovely. A great baseline for settling into/As Awareness.

I have been following the teachings of Eckhart Tolle since 2013 after going through a shocking and painful divorce at 27 years-old, which shook "my world" and reality as I knew it. All of a sudden, I was alone in the US, without family and friends - I had very little emotional support and had to learn how to rebuild "my life" on my own. The loneliness and disorientation I felt were intense, Eckhart Tolle's teachings was all I had, so I leaned into it heavily, listening to it every day in my solitude and finding comfort in his voice and in the truth I sensed in his teachings. 9 years later, after a difficult journey of uncovering a lot of unconsciousness (the divorce was just the beginning) my life has transformed - I remarried a wonderful man who is kind, loving, patient and we practice spirituality and work on our unconsciousness together, I have started my dream and vision of becoming a spiritual wellbeing coach with a focus on Eckhart's teachings, and my dream of moving to Portugal is finally coming true. I don't want to focus on the "outer layer" only and don't want to give the impression that life is now perfect, we all know this is not the nature of reality. There is still unconsciousness, but more often than not I am aware of it shortly after, so I'm able to let go and not create suffering. I continue to practice presence since I know anything I experience in the world of form is temporary and will eventually dissolve - I want to be cautious not to develop strong attachments to the world of form after manifesting the life that I always wanted. I felt the truth in my bones in everything that Eckhart teaches, but to have put it to the test (how he says it himself), and to now experience and see the truth for myself has been transformational - it has deepened my presence and trust in it, and it is incredibly liberating to feel connected to source throughout normal daily life. Thank you, Eckhart.. I am infinitely and forever grateful for your teachings

Eckhart, I reached my ENLIGHTENMENT about a year ago. I struggled for 20 years trying to follow spiritual teachers' guides. But I was able to reverse engineer the process of stopping the advances from the DEFAULT MODE NETWORK. I've written a book with instructions for the ENLIGHTENMENT OF THE MASSES. My meditation techniques are fundamental with crystal clear instructions and no open concepts or parables to figure out. My book is now available in Amazon "ON THE EVOLUTION FROM THE PRIMITIVE EGOIC MIND BY MEANS OF PURE CONSCIOUSNESS" by Victor Berrios

I was completely thoughtless and i had to think harder to come my normal noisy head state... Still the thoughts are very less frequent..... I have to focus myself for even typing this message. Somehow i feel that i am fine completely but also feeling light like a leaf. No burden at all in my forehead as if someone or something has lifted it up. (I was meditating kundalini for 6-7 days for an hour daily and this breath technique through out day and night every now and then). Does it make sense?? Or i am just insane? 🤣 but i surely want to feel that "now" again.

In Greek, soul and mind are synonymous. On a surface level, it seems that there's an individual soul or mind. But on a deeper level, if we want it to call 'deeper', there's no such thing as an individual soul or mind. There's only one mind (soul) within one consciousness.
