As You mentioned, drive slow in tall grass with new calves on the ground. I ran over a new borne calf over 40 yrs. ago and it still bothers me today.

Yes, as you’ll hear in the next video, I nicked one, just a tad, the other day. It was unhurt, but it still bothered me.

I haven't had cracked ribs but I had bruised ribs from being head butted by a calf so I feel really sorry for you.
