Feel similarly about scenario 1, even when you don't snowball it's usually still just the hardest scenario in most campaigns and your performance impacts the rest of it. It always has a lot or even the most XP available in a campaign, and the earlier points matter much more than the latter ones. It's also just that past a certain XP threshold, almost every investigator is so far past what any campaign is asking of them that there really isn't any meaningful comparison anymore. Like the difference between most people's B and S tiers in the back half of a campaign isn't winrate or viability, it's stomping the campaign or stomping it harder. It's mostly why my table has stopped playing In the Thick of It. On top of just being an extreme autoinclude, it gets the snowball rolling before the game even begins, trivializing the first scenario and then the rest of the campaign as a result.

Higher education in Rex (and all seekers who can take it) is crazy. Rex is online at 3xp which is in the thick of it. His parallel backside card pool is actually nuts early campaigns and could crush almost every scenario imo

I think I know which tier list you are talking about, and I disagree with like 90% of that list. Also Rex is great on hard as well, hard is not that hard and succeeding by 2 happens a lot.
