I have been taping my mouth every night now for 12 months to make sure I breathe through my mouth all through the night. This has been life changing. I use to be a chronically bad sleeper now I fall asleep easily and sleep deeply throughout the night.

It’s hard to imagine, but as someone that butchers his own deer I can tell you the wind pipe and food pipe are right next to each other. Like they are right there right after the nasal passage drop into your mouth basically. Right at the back. There has to be a reason they are so easily connected. Beyond being another cruel divine joke or trick to see if we’ll take the easy way and just mouth breath.

I have practice nose breathing last 3 years because i would have panic attacks about my mouth breathing like im checked/ counted pulse many times during the day. I also eat beta blockers daily, but nasal breathing is key for being anxiety free for sure. Jawline gonna get sharp also. Sorry my bad english

Are there any side effects to doing these exercises initially? I am definitely seeing the benefits at this early stage, but I also sometimes observe spikes in anxiety and pulse (not sure about BP, haven't measured) also a little bit of pain in my head. Could this be the body or nervous system adapting to changes? Like blood ph/chemical levels? Or the nervous system adapting to a more parasympathetic state?? James Nestor mentioned he was sweating hard during his first Breathing session, before he delved into the subject.. Why was that? thanks.

Yes the oxygen hunger that you’ll feel when you just start practicing this can lead to slight anxiety, if you feel this we recommend not counting as high when you hold your breath 🙏

My nose is stuffy most of times but daily meditation really helps me. I sort of can’t function properly without meditation. Every time i leave meditation my health and life starts going downhill. Why does meditation decongest my nose?
@Life360Summit3 жыл бұрын
Because it’s shifts you into parasympathetic nervous system activation, which is associated with the ability to nose breathe 🙂🙏

Hmmm. Faulty science. The cause of asthma in most patients is not nasal breathing in the morning. At least not in the 100s of patients I treat for Ashima.
@Life360Summit4 жыл бұрын
We stated the opposite. They do not do any nasal breathing at night almost 100% of them out mouth breathers
