As an attentive subscriber to your channel, I have also been following this topic with interest. What you teach about cropping photos is very educational. If your time allows, I would be very grateful if you would look at the magnolia picture (in my community area) and give me a short constructive criticism. I cropped the photograph relatively radically because there was a building with scaffolding in the immediate vicinity on the left side of the courtyard and the rear facade of a house on the right, both of which disrupted the main motif enormously. As a result, I had to trim part of the crown of the tree. I also wanted to incorporate the “Golden Ratio” as much as possible. As an experienced teacher, you will certainly be able to judge very well whether I succeeded in cropping the photo or whether, for example, I could have trimmed the left side even more. Kind regards - Monika

Your magnolia tree photo, I think the trimming has been generally successful. Personally, I might have trimmed a bit more on the left side, and also a tiny bit more at the bottom. Because of trimming the canopy, the area near the ground looks a little bare. Have a nice weekend, Monika
