Well, I ignored this golden rule and on 0DTE Friday 😭 andddd after being green on the day with our QQQ puts from this morning. This is the reason Ive been in a slump lately. Been red for 10 days straight and Its not my levels because I tune in every morning and trade the levels it's just my entries are off which cause me to close the position even if the trade ends up working. Really disappointed and can't shake this slump I'm in. Great stuff Vince always appreciate the content. You truly are great at what you do! 👏 🔥 🐐

I have some advice for you friend. As someone who has become profitable this year, here is my advice when finding entries. If you are buying near support - start with smaller lots or smaller contract sizes. If you notice the levels are holding, then look to add size. If you go all in at the bottom and expect to find the exact bottom, you'll lose money being continuously stopped out, only then to be frustrated as you watch your prediction come true. I trade 1-4 mini contracts at a time. When I am looking for support I tend to start with 1, and then add as I notice buyers are stepping up. I will do this on shorts as well. I will keep adding to my position as I notice continuous breaks in structure.

I only trade 2-3 contracts since I'm still building up my account but blew about half of it in just 2 1/2 weeks! Crazy how something that takes so long to compound can get wiped out relatively fast. Glad you addressed the FOMO entry, haha… Glad it worked out for ya. I think it’s good for people to see an experienced trader acknowledge these things and demonstrate that no matter how long we do this, it is always a challenge to suppress that emotion… Because in the moment, our inner “cave man” makes it feel “rational” to chase, by reminding us in the moment, of all the trades that got away. Which if we sat down and thought about it, really weren’t that many. BUT, they are the ones we remember when we are new and we tend to engrain these experiences into our psyche for a long time.

Every person that has traded for a decent amount of time has had that day, and if they haven’t, they probably will at some point. Remember how it felt, commit to abiding by levels. Put Vince’s levels from the pre-market livestream on your charts, and just watch them for a few days or weeks and be confident that they will keep you out of trouble

Love the transparency about getting in early.. I will say tho.. the fact that original entry was only 10 contracts.. that gave you the ability to avg down adding another 20 at the bottom. without that avg down things could have looked a lil different. AMZN APPL,TSLA today. Did not respect my stop loss and I lost 13 % of my account. I took Call options and everything went down. Foolishly I was hoping the market will come back up an it did not. I ruined my account and my weekend. I did the oposite of your teaching and lost . My fault.

This was a big problem of mine. I could get 5 winners in a row then let one bad trade wipe them all out and then some… two part solution, part one, before you get into a trade, put a line in the sand where if it passes, no matter what, you sell and move on. Part two, size down, if you don’t think this applies, think again lol. Once I sized down I immediately found it mentally much easier to cut losing trades because I wasn’t losing so much that I was devastated at the thought of losing it… genuinely hope this helps man.
