Chris I know this video has been out for a while but DANG that card switch at the beginning is SOOO smooth and barely noticeable. I really just think that those types of magic tricks are so cool because it doesn’t have any sort of gimmick and can be done by anyone without the use of outside tools or card preparation as long as they are skilled enough. I just think this is soooo cool and I really wanted to tell you that you are absolutely amazing at what you do

Previous month I managed to gather my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this company over the internet for 2 yrs now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing about that is that I am not that tech-savvy, they only required basic insight into internet and simple typing skill...Great thing about this work is that I have more time for my kids. I am able to devote quality time with my family and friends and look after my children and also going on holiday vacation along with them very often. Don't let pass this opportunity and try to act quick. Check it out, what I do... *bay25.com*

@LawlietCTN 5 жыл бұрын
yep it s the first time i see the "tricks" without slowing or rewatch the the vid (even if rewatch to be absolutely sure) but yeah it was not quick enough or maybe the angle, anyway , this one is the "worst" trick Chris have shown here. but considering all the skill he have, it s just a matter of time before it becomes as mind blowing as every other of his tricks.
@LawlietCTN
@LawlietCTN 5 жыл бұрын
i think the problem was here: as he turn back that 6 of D with an other card ( 0:18 ) , his thumb shouln't have to grab it afterwards. I think it s that thumb move that appeared weird for me. i'm not a magician or an expert at all, but he probably should have used another finger to place the card he picked with his thumb to place the card on top of the 6 of D instead of the thumb. everything happens in a second. The end of the trick is okay for me as i m only able to catch it because of the problem that i mentioned earlier. i'm better in french than english so i hope i'm clear enough ^^'
@lukemcardle9582
@lukemcardle9582 5 жыл бұрын
Le Crash Testeur to be fair that trick is not meant for camera, if he did that for you in person you would have no chance of catching the move, especially when there’s no slo motion replay. And the angle and close up mean there is no misdirection needed to get away with it. But as a former magician I can say he has nailed that move, it was actually very smooth
@LawlietCTN
@LawlietCTN 5 жыл бұрын
you probably right, it might be because of the the camera. this time i caught it without slowing down the vid, that's why i'm writing here. if the slow mo is needed , so the trick is correctly done and have nothing to say about it. this time, i really think that the thumb catch is not right, because of the card turn over. Knowing Chris usual skills, i know for sure he can do better and make the slow mo needed to catch it. let s assume you turn a card with another card , you won't need that thumb to catch it as the card is already supposed to be there. that's why i think that specific move is not correct because not logical at all considering the final position of the card. the rest of the tricks is perfect but because of that move , we can see without slowing that the card he picks is not 6 of D. if he had pick that card with one of his finger behind the deck to quickly move the second card above the 6, then picking it , we would believe he picked the 6. i will say it again , i'm not sure my solution is the correct one because of my "noobness" but i can say for sure that something was not smooth enough this time.
@lukemcardle9582
@lukemcardle9582 5 жыл бұрын
Le Crash Testeur yeah true, As I know this move myself, you catch the card with your thumb with the motivation of moving it to the other part of the deck. But trust me, in person the misdirection is strong enough that you won’t think twice about it, but yeah he probably could have done a better take

I saw the move with the portal at the beginning right away, but I've learned to expect such things. Not having much dexterity, I can't physically do these moves, but my mind and attention to detail are tuned and sharp. I enjoy moves I can barely see just as much as ones I can't figure out, because it gives a human touch to an absolutely amazing trick. Loved it.

same I feel like he was faking his reaction, he has also solved many other puzzles doing the spin move as one of the first things he'd do. there was only 2 ways to solve this obviously, banging and spinning yet he didn't try spinning for 10 mins, HMmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

That trick at the beginning. If that's sleight of hand, I think I see how you did that. You got me interested in magic since when I first saw you, then I went to find out more, know about Penn and Teller and whoever, now I try to do some easy tricks and find out how most people do their tricks. It's good to be back and it's good to see you keeping up your good work.

Just look at 0:18-0:20 to see him flip the six of diamonds over and then pull another from his right hand over it that makes it look like the six of diamonds is actually the card this is sticking out when it's actually another card. Watch the rest closely and you'll see how sly this fellow is but not to sly for a loser like me to take the time to type this comment and kill the fun :D
