I think the way his channel has been “dying” is the right way to see it go. It’s hard now to appeal to children on KZbin these days without being obnoxious, especially because there’s such an overwhelming amount of content and what grabs viewers is often among the most extreme. Stampy was always genuine, sincere, and never exploited his fans the way so many children’s KZbinrs do now. He never pressured his audience to buy merch or “smash that like button.” It’s better for him to make content he likes than for him to try hopelessly to stay relevant, because the truth is that the only path out there for relevancy on KZbin is one of greed, exploitation, and dishonesty. I have mad respect for the man. He will go down in the books as a legend.

I’m gonna miss him a lot. He formed my childhood, placed my loyal spot into the minecraft community, and has a special place in my heart. I remember as a child, I’d be eager to wait for episode 1,000 of his lovely world series, going up from 100, 200, and all the way back up to 600. Being a fan before episode 100, I enjoyed every second of his content, with no regrets. Though his channel was slowly coming to an end, and I could see his, I thought I should buy Stampy’s Lovely Book on release to support him a little more considering what little I could do. It still sits on my shelf to this day. A few years later I was told that Stampy and Sqaishey got married, and I was quite surprised, considering It really felt like a blink when I first saw them, but I googled it, and they got married in 2019. I felt happy for them. It was around this time that I grew up. And now I still check his channel often, making sure he’s holding up good. I watch his Space Den series to this day, and I can’t help but to feel nostalgia every time. Remembering Sky Den and Cave Den and being in quarantine, I decided to rewatch every episode. That brings me to today, and I came here and filled myself in. Thanks to Stampy who formed my childhood and everything in there. Cheers.

@bearmugs1408 Жыл бұрын
Well, Stampy did lie about one part of the L for Lee allegations. Towards the end of Lee's appearance Stampy said that the L for Lee character was being played by someone else in the description of his videos (this is no longer there though). Lee, in his own video addressing the allegations said it was always him right until the end. So, you have to take Lee's word for that. But there wouldn't be much point in Lee saying this unless it was true because he left to protect Stampy's reputation in the first place. So spreading false information would just oppose Lee's own reason for leaving. Other than this, Stampy handled the situation remarkable well considering the entire situation (the nature of the allegations and Stampy's young audience). Not going into why Lee left as to not draw more attention to it etc.

Stampy is one of few people who never did anything wrong to fall, it’s just what happened. I believe he’ll have some amazing new content for other people later in other forms, not just KZbin. I probably stopped watching stampy back in 2015 or 2016. I started watching himself when I was 9, I can’t believe that. Years and years of just the same thing was just interesting to us back then. But once you realize all the magic behind it, you appreciate it less. And eventually you get older, and find interest in other things. It was a childhood well spent, and it’s what got me into minecraft. I had pocket edition, but I never would have gotten java if it wasn’t for stampy. I’m starting an rp this summer, and it’s hard to believe it was because of him (and also some other people, but I wouldn’t have found them in my recommend if I didn’t watch stampy). I don’t know how he stayed on the same world every day for year though. It amazes me.

His skill was in Minecraft but, he just grew up, he got tired of everything and he never got a break, he was the difference within all the other Minecraft KZbinr's He was polite, thankful, and an absolute legend, he was child-friendly, educational, entertaining, but he just wasn't fit for it anymore, people didn't like the minority of Minecraft in his channel, and begged him to start from where he left off from but, he just gave up, he grew up, children really didn't like this, so that's the reason they stopped, he started to replay unfamous games but, he just lost his spark, so Dear stampy We wish you goodbye and a thank you, thank you for entertaining the children, farewell, I'll miss your spark

Another problem was that Lee, the beaver like character was charges with false rape and abuse charges. It gave him a bad name for awhile Edit: I got this from another article, o didn’t realize that part of it was in the video.

Let him rest... let him be in peace... and let him be the person he always was when he had the beginning and chance to play with us in our childhood sparking people's imaginations and giving us our own thoughts of child's play... goodbye... StampyLongNose I will miss you and I'm sorry... 😔

I recently got back to playing Minecraft. Especially with background noise that has me smiling. After years, I've gone back to watching Stampy from video one on Minecraft and ongoing. His voice is soothing, his jokes are simple and funny, and he's so chill that it helps me be chill as I play. Thank you, Stampy, for being such an amazing person through my childhood and until now.

Literally the Mr. Rogers of our generation. The man was a legend and you could tell he loved what he was doing. Big part of mine and many other’s childhood.

I guess that's why he doesn't care about the views, he's being true to himself and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

He was a great guy and it's sad that he's lost so many views

Idk why I am my suprised. I haven't been watching Stampy's videos just because I grew up from that series, but it was so nostalgic. It warmed my heart to see my favorite channel when I was 5 years old, now 14 and still seeing it and thinking how much time has passed, remembering the good days. It wasn't Stampy's fault, it was the trends that were pulling him down. Minecraft trends shifted from being creative and having fun with friends, to fighting the ender dragon and getting all geared up so you are stronger; it's not the same as it was 7 years ago when Minecraft was good. Stampy doesn't die, just a legend in our hearts.

"His channel didn't die, we just grew up" Y'kno words couldn't be more truer than this, At some point, we all grow up whether we like it or not. People, things, Games, all age. All the children watching Stampy's video, including myself, we've grown up. Though, even if we may have grown up, that childish and imaginative Nostalgia will always be with us.
