If you do the math, youll get 4miles per day, you will achieve the same thing with solar panels on a normal ev, i think even musk said that they would get 4-6 miles a day extra from solar panels on teslas

I guess -Tesla probably do it one day - embedded in the glass-roof - when the cost goes down to trivial - and looks/weight isn’t aggressive. 2 miles a day for the lifetime of the car is something - but not more than a feature

@@71kimg it wouldnt be 2 miles a day for life though because of climate for one and 2 solar pannels will need to be replaced at some point. an interesting concept is the same that sunreef yachts is using make the actual boat out of solar pannels rather than on the top deck, although this may be hard for safety reasons on cars worth a thought
