I left Evangelicalism and am now discerning between Catholicism and Anglicanism, because those traditions have actual substance to them.

Nations are defined by race and ethnicity which includes religion. In the case of America, it's White Anglo Saxon Protestantism.

@@maxwell8758 So, you are one of those who believe America is an idea? Your family is not an idea. Neither is your nation. You don't know the difference between the state and the nation. The United States is not a nation; it is a governmental body of laws. The nation is the people which I already defined as White Anglo Saxon Protestants. When you defend just the constitution and the United States, you are defending the state. United States has been at war with the nation since Abraham Lincoln. The state has been using the courts and the so called Constitution to destroy the racial and ethnic identity of America. If you support the Constitution then you support gay marriage because the courts determined that it was constitutional.
