I sit every day in amazement looking at the 100yr old oaks that my grandmother planted in my yard and each time I look at one I amazed at (in human terms) the time & the creativity God used in creating each one & start thinking about how he created the atoms and all that makes it grow the way they do. The strength of the beaches that are able to withstand the tremendous weight of the limbs. I’m done this for 40yrs now and still amazed as much now as I was the first time I thought about it. I’m still at a loss for words.

Thank You Father for staying focused on biblical topics and away from day to day political nonsense! As new Catholic working towards confirmation with my two teenage sons, I'm interested in Gods word, not men and their disagreements. Even when discussing critics of the church your always very kind. You set a great example for me to aspire to and I THANK you for your service! May God Bless You!

Thank you for your work. Ive been a heathen my entire adult life, and satisfied with my gods and the inspiration they gave me. But ive seen the true potency and felt the overwhelming love of god in complete solitude(no attributing that to protestant evangelical love bombing tactics.) My conception of christianity was always based upon catholic degeneration, and the impotence of western protestantism... youve been the closest thing to a teacher ive had in this process of conversion. I deeply appreciate your wisdom.

God certainly has a great gig. Millions pray to Him Any moment and the clergy exort their flocks to pray to ancestors obey God. And God gets the credit for everything that goes well and dodges the blame for everything that goes badly. You’d think he’d take responsibility for damage done by earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes at least.

Job never disparaged God - as you said, as in 'needed to be reminded?' From my understanding Job was devote follower of the faith - and the Devil came along and made a bet with God that he could turn Job from his faith in God. And God took up that bet ( prideful? - And as in challenge excepted - How would you like a pawn in that bet?) . Whether Job ultimately came out ahead on that? - Still the trauma couldn't of been good. And God thinking nations as "A speck of dust" But he was certainly concerned King David take back Israel? Interesting for something that didn't apparently matter in Gods scheme of things?

Job sufferings were a GLORY for him. The devil underestimated Job faith and strenght not GOD he knew and showed it to the devil. At the end Job is glorious with God Almighty in heaven with the eternal joy of having surrendered.
@kyrstenwilson31113 ай бұрын
I think (and take that for what it's worth, i'm no scholar or teacher) he never disparaged God, but he stopped trusting Him. Job did everything right, but God still allowed Satan to test him. Job's friends insist Job must have done something to deserve all this. Job knows that's not true, but who is going to be Job's lawyer before the creator of the universe? It's not until Job starts lawyering himself and starts making conclusions about God's character, directly saying himself that God may not be fair or good, that God himself steps in to shut Job up and protect Job from blasphemy
@sitka493 ай бұрын
@@Nola-2000 That's assumption , and your speaking for someone else when really don't know - "That Job thought it was Glorify at the time?" - Especially watching his children killed to prove a point. Its one thing to devastate his land - or cause him physical suffering - But to slaughter a mans family for what , pride?

@@kyrstenwilson3111 I've never met an atheist who never believed , and I've never met a religious person that always believes.People flip back and forth all the time in belief and non belief. It's the nature of our beast , it's just that we are not honest with ourselves. If someone claimed as an atheist that never entertained the idea of almighty I wouldn't believe them , and if you are a religious person who says I believe in the lord 100% of the time .Nope!
