I heard about these sites from Graeber and Wengrow's new book, "The Dawn of Everything." You give a good explanation of the diagram in the book, which they don't explain at all. It seems to me that this circular arrangement of housing would be good to try in a modern habitation or housing development. Here is part of what they say, "... archaeological studies of their economy, which suggest a pattern of small-scale gardening, often taking place within the bounds of the settlement, combined with the keeping of livestock, cultivation of orchards, and a wide spectrum of hunting and foraging activities. The diversity is actually remarkable, as is its sustainability. As well as wheat, barley and pulses, the citizens’ plant diet included apples, pears, cherries, sloes, acorns, hazelnuts and apricots. Mega-site dwellers were hunters of red deer, roe deer and wild boar as well as farmers and foresters. It was ‘play farming’ on a grand scale: an urban populus supporting itself through small-scale cultivation and herding, combined with an extraordinary array of wild foods. "This way of life was by no means ‘simple’. As well as managing orchards, gardens, livestock and woodlands, the inhabitants of these cities imported salt in bulk from springs in the eastern Carpathians and the Black Sea littoral. Flint extraction by the ton took place in the Dniestr valley, furnishing material for tools. A household potting industry flourished, its products considered among the finest ceramics of the prehistoric world; and regular supplies of copper flowed in from the Balkans. There is no firm consensus among archaeologists about what sort of social arrangements all this required, but most would agree the logistical challenges were daunting. A surplus was definitely produced, and with it ample potential for some to seize control of the stocks and supplies, to lord it over others or battle for the spoils; but over eight centuries we find little evidence for warfare or the rise of social elites. The true complexity of the mega-sites lies in the strategies they adopted to prevent such things." (The Dawn of Everything, p. 293)

Romania - Cucuteni culture..7500 years. It is a Neolithic-Eneolithic (approximately 5500-2750 BC) archaeological culture of Eastern Europe. Cucuteni Civilization - 5500 - 2750 BC...Older than Mesopotamia. The Cucuteni culture represents the peak of Neolithic culture in Europe (5,000-3,500 BC). Its name comes from the village of Cucuteni in Iași County - Romania, where the first discoveries were made in 1884 and the people who left those traces received the generic name of "Cucutenien". Cucuteni was spread over an area of approximately 350,000 square kilometers, on the current territory of Romania, the north of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, and its most important brand is high-quality ceramics. Paleogenetic studies from Germany on the Romanian population showed that we are genetically related to the populations that succeeded each other on the territory of Romania for 6000-7000 years. DNA from bones from archaeological sites. We are the successors of the Cucutenians as well and the only autochthonous people in Europe, for thousands of years. . Ukraine, today's inhabitant of this ancient prehistoric territory, only admires the superb pottery. It is not its prehistoric culture. Ukraine reaches these prehistoric territories in 1734 - 1922 through the annexation of territories by Catherine the Great and Lenin. No relation to this neolithic civilization.

The circle formation represents the womb of Great Mother. The 3 concentric circles represent the 3 Worlds: Heavenly Earth and Underworld. These are parts of Her body and represent Creation Sustainment and Destruction. The formation is supposed to represent the Universe .. which is Great Mother .. Her body. Just assume everything you see from back then either represents Great Mother or is associated with Her in some way. Mother Nature was everything to all of our ancestors until recently. Everything in Nature followers the pattern: Creation Sustainment Destruction, Creation Sustainment Destruction etc. That's why they burned it down and rebuilt. Same with Gobleke Tepe etc. Everything followes this pattern.
