Nice work. 2 minutes are nice digestible segments with potential to grow. Perhaps the 2-minutes could be an appetizer to a 30 minute deeper cut to discuss a few stories, topics, or aspects with fellow history nerds like us.

The idea behind the two minute videos is that I want to start uploading two videos a week, but the ten minute ones take about twelve hours each to make, and I don't have a whole twenty four hours to spare, whereas the two minute ones only take four or so. That's also why I started doing the green-covered ones where I just do a voiceover reading out an ancient text, because I don't have to write a script and film it. But that's certainly something I'll consider. Thanks for the feedback!

Keen to hear about what books you read and what books you have in your library behind you

Oh man. There's enough content there for a year. I'm thinking about doing some history book reviews actually, like Mary Beard's SPQR and Stephen Fry's Mythos.

To think, most modern people and Luddites believe that technology has caused ostracization when in reality, it has been around LONG before modern technology existed. Sadly, most forget this and don't bother to do their thorough research.

That was maybe the one decent feature of Athenian Democracy (which otherwise was in fact a "democracy of slave-owners", not much unlike today's western democracy, which in fact is a dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie), and we haven't even kept it.
