Yeah, one of my first Superhero Comics I got as a kid was Fantastic Four #175. I still get taken back to a simpler/happier time with that one "Galactus versus The High Evolutionary" They just dont make them like that anymore:)

My childhood Hulk comic book is Hulk # 139 1970! I had the replica of it in 1980 which it was my childhood favorite hulk comic book with the foes! I was 2 years old in 1980 and that how I became a hulk fanatic since also the TV show with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno!

Oh man I really like this! I think Hulk is rather a unique character. Everyone is aware of him but he doesn't seem to be collected as compared to other famous characters. Outside of issue #1 it seems his most popular book is of a first appearance of another character lol. I also think Incredible Hulk #102 is undervalued. So I like seeing him gain some popularity recently with Immortal Hulk and I'm looking forward to more of these videos. You are the man!

Ironically that hulk 230 was one of my earliest and fondest comic book purchase memories. But the coolest comic I remember purchasing was hulk 181 off the rack at a little gas bar and restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I was just 6 or 7 years old. I'm sure the comic was just thrown in the trash by the end of the trip to my to aunt's. Had I only known!

What's up, Bueller my man? Me and my mom spent Mother's Day at Denny's and had a good time. Really happy you got Incredible Hulk #181! That's a book I KNOW I want too! There was an issue of Detective Comics I use to own that I wish I still had where Batman fought Solomon Grundy. I can't remember the number. But it was one of my favorite books! Congrats again man!

Uncle Scrooge 142 Back to the Klondike, I still have it with it's torn corner and rolled spine. I must have read it a dozen times over the day I bought it back in 1977. Brings back memories of my Dad and the Air Force base we lived on in Mountain Home Idaho.

For me Amazing Spiderman 257. It was in a three pack. One of my first comics and my first spiderman that I still have in all its beat up glory. Spidey fought Puma, Kingpin cameo and both Black Cat and Mary Jane knocking on his door lol :)

Congrats on the 181...I just picked up high grade 118-121. I picked up a ASM 40 about 18 months ago and that started me back in as that was the first ASM I ever had...my friend who got me collecting gave it to me when I was 9....it was beat, but led me to having 1-150 all VF+ by the time I was 15.

A few months back I found the Batman Returns movie adaptation by Dennis O’Neil, it was an instant purchase, I remembered such fond and long memories with that as a kid, even down to all the places where I colored in panels!

I was just looking for Quasar 1st appearance last week when suddenly there was a speculation about him. Now Captain America #217 was in demand. Ugh

Congrats on the Hulk 180 and 181, brother! Put 'em in a Mylite 2 with fullbacks and they will present beautifully! That's the beginnings of a great Hulk collection you've got started there. I hope you can nab a 234 quickly too. That issue has been killing it on the market for a while now - 1st Wendell Vaughn as Quasar. Check out the 9.8's of that book on the bay, it's a mover now. #illuminati

Great video! I actually got back into Hulk recently with Immortal Hulk. I have a few comics that I bought again and the one that comes to mind is my Thor #292. Just love that cover! I collected the Defenders also back when I was kid but did not pick up that book yet.

i loved your video, wish you would read them on video too. I still have the original worn copies of most of the comics i had as a kid, so yes i do know how you feel. Sometimes i replaced one that went missing, and it is interesting to feel nostalgia in relation to what we think the original feelings were.
