Craig Jones is probably seething right now after another Jones grappler was able to figure out how to make BJJ even gayer.

The only thing that would make this more true is if it was actually posted by Craig Jones

Rumina Sato did this in one of his later matches in Shooto and it worked great. Was trying to apply it myself but wasn’t sure what to do with it once you get there or how to enter it in non-MMA. Glad someone found it!

Also feel like a lot of these leg lock maneuvers that you saw more submission oriented grapplers doing back in the day (esp in Japan) always caused trepidation in adopting because of the “risks” but the difference now is that world class grapplers have found ways to make these maneuvers less risky or even found ways to get out of the bad results of these “risks”.

I keep getting really slow, weak partners at my jui jitsu classes, I don't even get a sweat going anymore. Any suggestions?
@adamwood8710 ай бұрын
if you're just looking to push yourself, i'd suggest deliberately letting partners get you deep in submissions, and working on your escapes.

When I reverse close guard they always do it back

I want to trash this but it makes sense. People will give you this position, instead of Kguard, because they dont think there is a viable attack. But those ankle locks will work.

I don't care how good it is. I'm not doing this position.

Ironically, that take is gay.

Great position but slightly gay. I wish he showed more about what to do if they try to smash their hips and Butt down on your face to avoid the sweep or leglocks. Whenever I do this to my wrestling or MMA friends they just sit on me and lol

Owen, by his own admission, learned what he knows about this position from Abraham La Montagne (creator of the abe lock), and Lachlan Giles. You are (much) better off learning from them.

we all learned stuff from someone else. By your logic, we gotta do some necromancy to learn BJJ

@@prandz420 He learned it from lachlan giles on submeta. Owen has an instructional video called the reverse cow girl on bjj fanatics. He tells you he learned it from lachlan and abraham. You should purchase it, it's really good, that's if u like the donkey guard lol
