Best movie as a kid. I can still hear her scream "CONCEPCIOOOON' And learning that Rick Baker was Sydney makes all the sense now. It may be an old film but you have to show your kids this today for a good hoot

I taped this off of TV back in the '80s, and there's a few deleted scenes that were cut into the movie (remember those days?), most particularly a scene where the evil doctors are talking to test-subjects in the secret lab via closed-circuit TV. There's a small sub-plot involving this where Edith Ann is one of the test-subjects, and Pat tries to summon help from her when no-one's around. Kind of a heart-breaking scene when it doesn't work out for her!

I remember seeing this on TV7 Indonesia before it became Trans7 during 2004 it was in standard version and the end credits is not cut off which had the song Galaxy Glue while the credits played in normal speed. That means the first four Batman and Superman movies could be had the end credits while the entire movie is in standard verison like the VCD during 2004.

I remembered this on TV in 1983 when l was 10 and was always eager to watch this whole movie so l finally got it on vhs in 2007 not a great story to be honest but funny sequences seeing tomlin going down the plughole and flying out of the bed on a skateboard in a dolls house

They weren't reviewing this movie but they were talking about how crap Joel Schumaker's films are. Siskel said that he just about ruined Lily Tomlin's career with this, lol.

Good film but what did they shoot it on? It always looks so murky and washed out any time it's screened on TV. Doubt it's mainstream enough to get a digital clean up or the master print cleaned.

When I first saw this film when it came out, I wasn't aware that there was a film called The Incredible Shrinking Man from decades earlier. I later saw the older film and really enjoyed it. I like both films as they're very different.
