I'd like to point out that as of yesterday Nov.26, Resident Evil Directors Cut and Dino Crisis are now available to purchase on PS5/4 rather than locked to streaming. If you purchase them on PS3, they will be available to download on PS5 without additional payment! Thanks to Sony for tying the two stores together in this manner. Also note that Dino Crisis on PS3 is 5.99 vs 9.99 on PS5. So get on that PS3 and save a few bucks!

Some classics also gives you the PS4/PS5 version if the games are on there, an example is toy story 2, if you buy it on PS3, you will get the PS4 and PS5 version on the PS5, it has trophy support too on there.

That's interesting. I just checked the US store. The listing for those games no longer come up. They weren't available to buy ever but there were listings for them with demos as seen in this video. But as of writing this, those demos are no longer available.

In regards to Little Big Planet, the second game was delisted back in 2021 and the 3rd game was just delisted October 31st 2024 including all its dlc. Also the PS3 is the only way to play Call of Duty Classics on console now as the Xbox 360 store was shutdown and for some reason it was never made backward compatible.

Last February I got a PS3 and while I wish they had sales I purchased a few games, mostly the PS3 ratchet and clank I never owned. Unfortunately, only the original Silent Hill on the PSOne. Though you can purchase the physical copy Silent Hill HD Collection for about $20. Just be aware that it’s not a great way to experience the games. But it’s how I first played them and it wasn’t awful, but since playing PS2 version of Silent Hill 2, I will recommend saving the $$ and buying the PS2 copies will by far give you the best experience.

Awesome video man. It’s a shame Sony removed the ability to transfer Vita/PSP games from your PS3 via usb cable. It was the only legitimate way to get Silent Hill and MGS1 and some other games on your Vita. You could still download games straight to your PSP too. Just need to temporarily disable your wifi security settings.

That is a crying shame. My big Vita memory card has a tendency to corrupt itself. There's quite a few PSP and PS1 games I own that can only be installed to my Vita via the PS3 connection. Luckily I made a backup of them (along with my Vita games/saves). If it wasn't for that I'd be out of luck.

Why are people talking about “before it gets shutdown”. WE ARENT XBOX! We already had a shutdown attempt in 2021-ish and WE STOPPED IT! They know they will get backlash if they try it again. Jailbreak your ps3 and get them all for free similar to hshop for 3ds and PKGj for ps vita. But you unfortunately can't download any games that have been delisted from the official online store. So won't find old licensed games like xmen origins wolverine,Deadpool and Lolipop chainsaw. Meaning you'll have no choice but to search online yourself for ps3 roms which has been difficult due to all the strikes on rom sites this past year.And physical copies of delisted games are costly. My copy of x-men origins wolverine is worth $100 now(with the case and manual)

@@enochjesus6169 No, All of my consoles are modded/jailbroken/hacked, whatever you want to call it lol. Theres literally no reason to keep them stock. Homebrew opens and allows the systems to be able to install and use many useful programs, fan controls and other custom settings, play retro games, play games with mods, and features to use besides the free games. Or even if my console has an issue, I can load the program to diagnose/repair the issue, or get a screenshot of the issue its displaying on that page and get help online to repair it.
