Am I the only one that misses that era of movie tie in games? Yeah most them were shit, but they had a certain charm & if you were broke & wanted a new game you could always rely on them being in the Gamestop bargain bin 🤣

one benefit is that some of them did a good job of the feeling of the tied in property even if by a pure gameplay perpective outside it they were more on the 6/10 side. it did allow for stuff like an explorable bikini bottom where only a game can do it

I didn't really play licensed games growing up, the almost sole exception being N64's Goldeneye, so I don't even recall any of this - I think more of the recent LEGO The Incredibles title. Still, it's definitely interesting to look back and see what worked and what didnt (funny enough, I think that Sonic Team could have learned something from the Dash level(s?)). Anyway, good to see new content from you! I know you've been struggling lately (and I can take a few guesses why), and I want you to know that we're still with you. Oh, man, I'd forgotten about this game. I remember even as a kid it felt clunky and repetitive, and I ended up just unlocking every level with a cheat code. But I did play it a lot; mostly Dash's first level, and also the platform levels, because there was a glitch or a cheat that allowed the character to start floating, and by pushing jump or attack you could shift up or down, and were completely intangible. It made beating all those levels a snap. Thanks for reminding me of good memories!

I remember seeing this game in the playable kiosk as a kid and always wanted to have it. The Incredibles is still my favorite Pixar movie. I came the PS2 version at a Goodwill this winter and after playing it, you hit the issues with the games right on it's head. It's still definitely worth at least one playthrough and I'm glad the Incredibles legacy is still alive through the Legos game and it's sequel.
