Small correction - That is not "Poo", it is the outer fiber of areca nut after it is harvested, they usually dry them or decompose them for manure. Animal screams that you usually hear near the forest are peacocks, if you are lucky you'll see their mating dance. The diversity in India is not just limited to human race, skin color, food, culture, language. As you discover India you will know India is diverse in beliefs, spirituality, religion and ultimately its diverse in way of living too 🙂 So, the whole concept about India is it accepts everyone as the way they are and it allows everyone to live the life they want. Good, Bad, Evil everything exists in your own mind and you can choose whatever you like or you want. Its easy to misunderstand India for foreigners but when you explore India more you will understand the maturity and depth of Indian Civilization.

Leaving exceptionally rare cases aside, animals are generally treated as part of the family. The elephants you saw there do not experience the kind of cruelty that elephants in circuses often endure. Instead, the elephants and their mahouts (handlers) share a warm and deeply bonded relationship. The concept of sanctuaries and national parks was established with the sole purpose of protecting wildlife, and they have been fulfilling that mission effectively for decades.
