So here we are, a couple months later, with an update on the 2023 Indian Challenger Dark Horse. This Indian repair actually took much longer than I expected it to. After dealing with check engine lights on the Indian challenger, they took the bike in and turns out this bike needed an entire wiring harness replacement. Something about the O2 sensors having low voltage and something with the coils, caused the lights and the issues that followed. I'm hoping this is the ONLY issue this bike has, but only time will tell. After a month of it being at iMotosports of st. pete, they got it put back together and I was able to pick it up. Now, before doing a full video, I wanted to take some time to put some miles on the bike so I could ensure everything was good to go. Well, after the bike sat for just a few days, the battery is completely dead. I've never experienced this with any other motorcycle which has be questioning, does the indian challenger have to sit on a battery tender? If so, that's a huge issue as I may not have a trickle charger with me if I travel. Anyone should be able to jump on their bike and just know it's good to go. especially if it's a new bike. I'll be contacting the service department once more to see if this is a common issue on the indian motorcycles or what the deal is. Fingers crossed it's just a battery issue that can be corrected by swapping it out. The next video with this bike, will be a true ride along video or moto vlog similar to how I've down with other bikes like my BMW S1000rr Mpackage. These videos are just my experiences. Not all indian challengers are going to have issues with them, but every brand will have some sort of issue from time to time. I just happen to be the one it happens to this time.
