I’ve started opting to ship 300 wood before distribution in my opening. It means I don’t have to idle my tc because i can go house 300 wood tp and have 100 wood leftover- usually a market in the transition

there is no good aztec build right now because Microsoft decided to just gut the civ by giving the explorer a spoon for a weapon and no useful abilities. Azzie is by far and away the worst civ in the game until they fix it.

Does India get wrecked late game though? That's what I've seen. It seems like apart from their elephants, their units are weak and they are slow to train

In legacy they do get bad in long/late games, but in DE they are quite good in long games too! especially with seige ele having 32 range! and lesser cost, and better cav train times! as for the infantry! their train time is descent ! but u can always use sepoys to do baracks, to produce units faster! its a good trade-off in most cases! also their eco is brighter is great in DE with 103 vills and no factories to worry about!

Depends what you call lategame, maybe imperial they fall off, but before they have strong units throughout the game. In Industrial the urumis are often a game changer, and sepoys their unit roster doesnt lack anything significant

@@PratUshh They have the most important artillery (Culv + mortar in siege elefant). Sure having falcs or something like that would be nice, but their units are so strong and pop efficient, that you really dont miss falcs too much (Also urumis give as big of a power spike against infantry as canons). With the consulate you can get some in the midgame, if you really want to get them.

@@AndiAOE3 urumis are basically the replacement for falconet, but not better, in that way. Siege ele has damage/multipliers of a culv, but 6 less range than culv i.e. Equal to falc. But has a light cav tag, hence can be killed by skirms as well, unlike a falc. Siege is good to kill 2-3 cannons max, with great micro/hit&run, but cant handle mass artillery. The only thing siege ele is perfect for is one shoting buildings.

Gurkha range increases with age ! and in age 5, Gurkha(21) outrange Skirms(20)
