Learn more about the Sailrite Fabricator at www.sailrite.com/Sewing-Machi...
Want to know which is the best industrial sewing machine? Today I'm reviewing the Sailrite Fabricator. I was looking for an industrial sewing machine and saw this one on Instagram and instantly fell in love with how it looks. I researched it to see if it operated as good as it looks and the answer is YES! This is the industrial sewing machine that you want.
It sews through 16 layers of denim easily. The servo motor and foot pedal give it amazing control to go super slow all the way up to 1,100 stitches per minute. The knee lift operates the extra high presser foot and it's equipped with automatic oiling. On top of all this you can wind bobbins while sewing. It comes with a table, LED light, 45 needles, 4 oz. V-92 thread, 5 Large capacity bobbins, 3 screw drivers, seam ripper, maintenance brush, and oil.
Remake your wardrobe to be just as fun as you! #Upcycle your clothes to fit your size and personality with a little creativity and a few alterations. Join this crew of #refashion renegades!

awe!! your son is so adorable. I think it is great you are showing your son how to sew. all children need to learn different things, that way if they ever need to use one they can just go right at it. love your videos. I quilt every once in a while and a sewing machine like that would be amazing.

It’s one gorgeous machine for sure! I have five industrial machines that I use in my home business of doing custom window treatments cushions pillows etc. I bought them all used from a factory that refurbishes machines. I am retiring and looking to replace several of those machines with one machine for home sewing my own stuff. This looks like it might be a good one except it doesn’t zigzag. It’s ridiculous how expensive some of the home sewing machines are and they seem like junk after sewing on a good industrial machine! Sailrite has great videos on how to fabricate relaxed Roman shades along with charts on the web so you can plug in your own numbers to get your cuts. Great company. And by the way, if anyone wants to make a business doing custom window treatments, there is lots of business out there!

Your reviews are the best I have found on this machine, and I am thinking its time for me to get one. I have an old Singer industrial 111W115 from the 50s that works fine yet it is for heavy work only. I have operated a Sailright Fabricator. I sewed my T shirt that was old, thin, and falling apart with it beautifully. Also I re stitched my belt. Yes I had to make adjustments yet they were minimal. Thank you so much for sharing.

Run a sew off with this machine and the 1940s-50s Singer model 15s. The sailright has a walking foot feature which is great but those old machines, often under $200 in working condition with a table, were used in dressmaker and repair shops to sew thick and challenging fabrics as well as the super light weight fabrics. In the 60s Singers started adding nylon gears (which can dry out and fail) and then from the 80s+ went mostly plastic all over.

This is a great review and i'm sure of it form looking at the specs it's a great machine but let me say this. If you take the clone version of the Juki 1541s the specs outdo everything in this category. Bobbins are same (M type) Same Needle System (135x16) It is a walking foot as well which makes a world a difference when sewing through heavy stuff as you mention in the video. But the spec of 14mm presser foot lift on the sailrite compared to the Juki 1541s or clone version which gives 16mm lift, it will be easier to get your foot under those thick materials. I own a 1541s and I made a leather bag with 210 thread on top and bottom bobbin no problem. I also added a speed reducer system so you get even more torque and control when needing that extra power and control on those areas where you need to slow it down. The 1541s also has a bobbin winder integrated into the machine. But the bid defining factor is many upholstery shops and factories all over the world use 1541s clones. Why? Because parts are very easy and affordable to come by Sailrite. Not so much. If you are going to spend the money go with the 1541s or clone version. I'm sure this machine will serve you well non the less. Bottom line any sewing machine is better than no sewing machine so thats really all that matters. Cheers

Greg Thompson Hi, which brand would be the Juki clones? What about Consew? Thank you
@gregthompson8062
@gregthompson8062 3 жыл бұрын
@@juancedeno6650 I would say the 1541s or any other clone of the 1541 as it's a walking food machine. The Juki clone of 1508 is also a very solid machine and build to handle heavier than the 1541s But in my opinion those are the ones to look out for. Any upholstery grade walking foot machine will be the key to your projects that you will not grow out of no matter how far you take your sewing. Unless you do heavy leather work. But that's anohter topic.

That is really a great machine. If I had a bigger place to live, a place for a permanent machine, this would be a good one to have. I like to do costuming, and to reupholster furniture, as well as my alterations, and personal fashions. My Bernina weighs a ton, but has been with me for 45 years. I don't try to tax the motor too much, as I don't have a repairman anywhere near me if I was to break it. So I refuse the leather jobs. Good luck and thanks for the inspiration!

I love my industrial machine. Also, if you want mobility, I highly recommend Juki TL-18QVP. Same power with mobility.

Oh cool! Yes, Sailrite has a mobile version as well. I wonder if they are comparable.

@@BlueprintDIY Really! I need to check that out. The thing is with Juki TL-18QVP, it can free motion stitch. So if you're into quilting or free motion embroidering, this can do.

So I REALLY didn’t appreciate having to put my machine together lol it was such a pain in the butt lol but now that I’ve got her all set up I agree, putting it together gave me a better understanding of her. That being said, do you have any videos on what thread to use with her? Or even a seeing video with some tips for using her? Thanks!

Great review -- I wish I could have seen the machine perform more though. Also to mention what sizes of thread it will take.

I am so humble and grateful for your video . Thank you 🙏 GOD BLESS EVERYONE. Also can you sew the most delicate fabrics like silk to the most sturdy fabrics . Basically is it an all in one sewing machine for all fabrics
@BlueprintDIY

You can sew all fabrics, but you have to do some adjustments in the tension. It's not as easy as a home sewing machine.

Bummer, I already bought a different non industrial one! Wish I had known about this sewing machine a year ago! LOL, sounds like a great machine, but if I bring home one more sewing machine, my hubby will probably disown me!

I think I’ve found my machine! Can it sew more delicate fabrics such as silk, and delicate cotton? Thank you for posting a thorough video!

The tension can be adjusted on the front to sew finer fabrics.

They have a smaller "portable" option not built into the table that is $795 right now. I wish it was black, but very cool, and has the same strength as this one!!! Might be worth getting out the paint though to customize it! (metal is easier to paint than plastic imo) Thanks for introducing me to this amazing brand!

Thank you for making this video! Right now I have the lightweight sewing machine which I thinking upgrade in a few months to Singer HEAVY DUTY. But now after watching your video, I am thinking, why spend $150+ on a Singer Heavy Duty when I should be getting Industrial Sewing Machine instead. I too almost injury myself with the layers of jeans before. Not fun at all! It limited me from trying other fabrics. So again Thank you! Thank you for showing the oil part!
