Bocchetti the funniest guy in the room. Jim is overrated as fuck and Sam is rivaling opie in the lack of funny realm . I know it’s easy to poke fun at Mike , and they were calling him out on a lot of his hypocrisy which was fair, but they started losing me when they started acting hellbent on getting him to name names of people who didn’t check in on him after his heart attack. Thats a personal situation and they should respect that. And they just kept beating the dead horse about 50 times too many insisting that he “name some names” acting like a couple of gossipy bitches back in high school. They should’ve left that subject alone instead of continuing to try and work him up.

I think they were trying to recapture some of the (admittedly funny) exploitative bits on the O&A show. The difference is, Anth (and often Colin Quin when he was guest) in particular had a warmth/conviviality to them that Jim nor Sam have. They come across as bullies.

The 1st time Bocchetti mentioned being in “The Family” w/ DeNiro was on O&A (Jim & Sam were both there too) and he said he filmed in 1 day and never met DeNiro. So now, yrs later, every time Jim sees him & Mike inevitably brings up the movie (does it every time) Jim will go: “you talk to DeNiro?” And Mike’s answer now is: “he talked to me”… so they love just calling out his BS and Mike never sees it and constantly lies and tells the same stories and references over and over. He’s so deep in delusion and that’s why J&S spend the whole interview just running him in circles cause it’s so easy to do.
