The Infinitely Colorful Biodiversity of Fractals

Fractal art is the opposite of design.
When playing around with fractals, shapes start to emerge, and when they start to resemble something - anything - I play with that. For instance, if something looks like a mountain, I will color it like a mountain, and light it with a low sun, or a hazy atmosphere.
This is important because the human eye will connect with something it thinks it knows - but it's different.
The danger of fractal art is that it becomes so abstract that your mind can't comprehend it at all.

I've already gone into fractals in VR and I can tell you its very creepy feeling like you aren't meant to be there. Also there is a weird "spider-like" presence as well. Very spooky.

It looks like how we would perceive 4d reality in our 3d eyes because the objects tend to disappear, this is because they pass our 3d field of vision kinda like how if you take your finger from in front of a 2d person, they’ll see you disappear as they can’t look up or down.

Amazing as always, 4:24 looks similar to architecture from "Cathedral" by Tomasz Baginski. Btw. are you planning to release tutorial about animated fractals? I mean not only camera fly-through, but one fracal structure transforming into another (1:30, 5:34 shows it really good). I looked it up in Mandelbulb 3d, but it seems that it doesn't have that option anywhere. Or is it possible only in Mandelbulber?

I wasn't planning on releasing another tutorial soon, but I will consider covering this in the future. Basically it's done in mandelbulb3d - and it's only a function of animating the parameters and the colors as well, that give the appearance of the morphing.
