Amazing,Amazing,amazing video. The song "These Dreams" set to issue #4 of Infinity Gauntlet works too. I'm horrible at putting that together if anyone can help. This video is great,man. Brought back a ton of memories when it was a Friday afternoon tradition for my brother and I to come home from school,drop our schoolbags and rush to the comic book store(1988-1992) where new titles would be released weekly. Each brand would release an issue per month but at different times so that every Friday we had new titles to purchase. Good times. Knowing that the weekend had arrived and our new comics at hand we'd then budget what we had and buy back issues and play some arcade games like street fighter 2,wrestlefest,etc and grab a pizza and soda before heading home. I know that sounds incredibly innocent and tame but I wouldn't trade those years for anything. Ever.

Having recently discovered your channel I love it, I know it's a five year old video, but this one you're just killing me. He doesn't relegate himself to just the power gem for the fight, he cuts himself off from sensory input so he's not aware of what his enemies are doing, as he states in a panel that show in the video. He turns Nova to cubes, Thor to glass, puts a mystery growth on She Hulk and Namor, creates a block around Cyclops head, shrinks Hulk, then puts him and Drax lost in time, portals away Thors hammer. He can still literally do anything with a thought, so he's not cheating like you say. Like I said, no disrespect, love your stuff, but I couldn't finish this one, you're literally looking right at it. :)

I also particularly love the metaphor. Thanos was in love with Death. When reading it back,imagine as if her physical form is simply a figment of his imagination. He wishes to please death. Thanos,in essence simply wants nothing more than death.

I don't believe we ever saw Dr. Doom's death in issue 4. Doom was detonated by a force coming from Thanos that literally blew him away. A few pages later Doom,banged up but still kicking,returns and Thanos acknowledges that. Doom states that "only death will stay my hand" as Thanos replies with his devilish grin "That can be arranged". After that comment we never see Doom again in that particular issue. What happened to him??

I could have sworn, I remembered Thing and Hulk throw Wolverine with their combined might! And Wolverine thrust his claws right into Thanos chest. He looked down at wolverine and grinned. That would have been a killing blow, if not for Thanos might! Maybe I am remembering that from another comic in a battle VS Thanos. GREAT video, part 4 is one of my favorite parts of the series.

Thanos remind me of Aizen from Bleach. The moment they got massive amounts of power intellect went out the window. Aizen is smart crafty and think steps up ahead but when he get power logic leaves him and possible shortcomings which u learn is his fight with ichigo .

Thanos didn't use just the power gem. He is seen using the time gem against some of the heroes as well, plus the reality gem when he turns "Thor" into glass, and Nova into cubes.

At no point whatsoever did Thanos claim he would only use the power gem. He stated he would limit his over all power and use only a fraction of his new total power. He claimed he would also forego any use of his newly acquired "cosmic omniscience", in other words he wouldn't use the mind gem to read the heroes minds & learn their plans and would not use the time gem to see the future. Other than that all bets were off, as evidenced when he used the reality gem to transform various heroes physical forms and the time gem to banish some of them into earth's past ect..

Thanos was still using the abilities of all six gems, he just stopped using the added senses they gave him; so he couldn't read the heroes' minds or look into the future to see what they would do, stuff like that.
