Thank you for this short & sweet breakdown ! Nice guide, however, I wanna highlight and encourage those who watches and follows this the importance of getting creative with your sound, thinking outside the box and expressing YOU ! Not just cookie-cutter. Sometimes tasty hats are not necessary. Maybe you sprinkle spicy shakers. Some seemingly unconventional ingredients together can happily surprise. Like watermelon and feta 😋 YOU are the chef of your dish ! Believe in your discerning taste. We can't all cook like Yan Cook 😉

really like this and would love more. great to see it broken up on a track per track basis. i often struggle once i get to about 70% of the "components" done to fill in the gaps, i always feel like there is space to be filled or i over compensate and there is too much going on. thus video really simplifies things.

Mostly by ear, but I also monitor where each sound sits on the spectrum to make sure they are not canceling each other or if there's something weird going on.

love your content but here is some honest feedback because I am not sure whats the point of this type of video. which viewer group are you targeting? this is pointless for people who want to deep dive into your production workflow. and the people who dont care about production and just love your music, i dont think this is interesting for them neither. if you wanted to sell a sample pack with loops then I guess this would work. just my honest opinion \ feedback, i hope this doesnt come across as rude or disrespectful

Trying to recreate these is a very good exercise. Listening to the individual elements reveals how much is going on. Much more than using just a sample. But maybe you don't hear that, I hope this doesn't come across as rude or disrespectful.

@@southWarped fair point, but i think if this is meant to be reconstructed as an exercise then the next thing people will do is look for videos "how to create this sound" etc., which could also have been a part of this vid

As a viewer who is into audio production I find this video actually pretty handy and insightful. You're not only getting a quick idea of what sounds go into a techno track but also a quick idea how they are looped/sequenced. Which is all the info I need tbh, I can't be bothered with lengthy tutorials.
