One of my favs from Penhaligon's and I've tried probably at least 15 of them. I'd never think I'd luke a vetiver fragrance, but they gave me a sample and it was amazing imo

What a great idea for a channel! I'm actually very familiar with Penhaligon's and am also wearing a sample of this one as I type. Interestingly, I don't get blue - I actually get cream. This perfume reminds me a bit of Kerala cuisine. There's a coconut note in there, along with incense that delivers a somewhat delicate spiced accord. This being said, I agree with you - I think this one is a bit generic and safe. Not unpleasant by any means, but at £204 a bottle... For ref, most of their range is designed to be unisex, and this one is no exception (ignore the name). I love their Orange Blossom and Lily of the Valley and I'm a dude! Subscribed, anyway.

Oh, thank you so much! I'm relatively new to the whole Penhaligon's range, but would love to explore more! Especially the ones you've mentioned.

@@Smellomania Lily of the Valley is a vintage...lily of the valley...! I love it, and would be interested to know what it reminds you of (I've reviewed it myself online and have a firm image in mind). The one I think you might have most fun with is Cairo though - if you were in the UK I'd happily post a free sample to you. Oh, and by the way...I now own William Penhaligon...!

It also reminds me of the smell of an indoor pool. But very fresh and quirky. It takes time to understand this difficult aroma.
