Everyone has 2 voices in their head. The boy and the man. If you listen to the boy all the time, you will be in a perpetual cycle of chasing pleasure and staying in comfort. This will lead to misery down the road because you will always wonder what if. What if you started that business. What if you took that leap. What if you went to that country alone. What if.....
Then there is the man voice, pushing us to constantly do the right things and shouting at us from a distance to take a chance. To take the risk and potentially live a completely different life that correlates with our highest calling and leads us to our full potential.
Most of us ignore the man because it seems like too much pain and commitment. We fear the judgment of trying and failing. But if you can let that bull shit go and realize no one is even thinking of you that much, you can take the leap.
Find out what's on the other side man.
Find out.

It was very beautiful what you said. I want to talk about something related to this. Our brain works by associating our psychology with the hot and cold system. The hot system is emotionally grabbing, vivid feelings, while in the cold system our emotions are literally cold. You can think of it like this; in the hot system you experience your emotion in the first person, but in the cold system you can watch it from a distance. It's like an angry man and a picture of an angry man. Control is difficult in the hot system but easy in the cold. This is exactly what trying to control by otherizing what you feel inside is all about. The inner child you are talking about is the otherized, alienated version of the person you want to let go of. You have done the same thing to the person you want to be inside you, the voice of the man inside you, in order to better define and hear him. In this way you, the boy and the man became 3 people. This is a perfect way. You have come to such a conclusion about the development you are suffering from. It is beautiful. I wrote all this in the hope of contributing to the development of the people who read it. I hope it has been useful. great vid but it's a simple preference. You said it yourself, you'll suffer either way. On my deathbed I personally won't give a shit if I went down either path. If you have something meaningful then you have something meaningful to lose. If you have nothing, then you have nothing to lose. Two sides of a coin. One is not better than the other.
