The Inquiry - Minerva - review

Theatre review: The final play in Chichester Festival's 2023 season is the first play by Harry Davies. In this video review, Paul Seven mounts his own inquiry into why The Inquiry disappointed, despite starring John Heffernan, Deborah Findlay and Malcolm Sinclair. The supporting cast are Nicholas Rowe, Stephanie Street, and Shazia Nicholls. The director of this story of a clash between a judge and a minister is Joanna Bowman and the set designer Max Jones.

Very good review. James Graham-lite, I admired the excellent actors who were served up a poor and forgettable script.

It did get some three star reviews but the general feeling does seem to be that it’s not dramatic enough.
