Jacurra Metoo yeah some people just don’t get it. The only modern car I’ve ever heard sound like a menacing old muscle car was a highly modified Jeep SRT8, but before the Trackhawk. It was black with the hood to rear offset blue stripe. When the rich mega nerd owner fired it up I swear it sounded almost like a pro stock drag car. It sounded like if he didn’t keep the revs up, it would stall out, which is exactly the gnarly chop you’re looking for. It was jaw dropping, no bullshit. It literally shook the ground but it definitely had some type of mufflers on it. Easily by far the most badass sounding late model I’ve ever heard. Come to think of it maybe it was turbo charged and the turbos were the mufflers. Hmmmm.

Wow they actually have a thriving amcar/classic car community in a major city. This surprised me. Here in Norway it is all dead. The politicians hate these kind of cars and even banned an event for it 4th of July in one of the Oslo Parks because it was "damaging" for the local enviroment. Last year 4th of July there were NO car meet ups in Oslo at all while at the same time in a smaller town 30 km outside of Oslo over 4000 American classic cars met up.

Watching this I had to keep telling myself this is not in the US, it's in Finland. There was everything there, muscle cars old and new, vans, Cadillacs old and new, even pickup trucks including a lifted Ford Super duty. That had to cost a small fortune to import over there. Very impressive.

If it's in good shape then fuel is only cost, but if you buy one that needs work then yeah it will cost you a lot to keep it on road and there always be something to fix. That's why you should buy total junk and do restoration or buy one after restoration everything in middle might be troublesome

Are you legally able to have carmeets in Finland 🇫🇮? Here in Sweden 🇸🇪 you could go to jail for gathering more than 50 people at one place :(
@Jamboolio

Yup, carmeets are pretty much legal now again, since they’re held outdoors, so people aren’t that close to each other. When indoors 50 people is still the max.

Oh, that sweet sound of the burbling V8. Although I don't quite like the rear end of that particular Charger (modern LEDs and old school muscle don't mix well) I'd say in general the 3rd gen models are under appreciated. Sure, the 2nd gen are legendary cars and I love them, but the 70s cars have really grown on me in recent years.

A typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year. This car doubles that.
@Jamboolio
@Jamboolio 2 жыл бұрын
That might be true, but no one is driving a vehicle like this every day to a super market or to work or anything like that, so no matter how you twist this, that ”typical passenger vehicle” will pollute way more during its lifetime than a vehicle like this one… peace 😊✌️
