Interrupt protection would be OP and a good way to not power-creep Verina directly. I feel just boosting numbers would be a shame. 4*s are definitely lacking though.

No they aren't we get more coral for pulls and wavebands whilst ease of access to higher sequences is there to get power Spikes much easier. Why would I want new half baked 4 stars right now I'd rather they get introduced when they are relevant to the story whilst we get the benefits from there being fewer 4 stars

Bruv Danjin is my fav character and she's a 4 star. Without even mentioning Sanhua or mortefi which you can tell are well made characters. Give them a little more time, i'm confident they won't disappoint us

Im 100% getting the first pistols healer in the game just because it means I don’t need to keep swapping my overworld team for those shooting minigames

I don't think that it's necessary for new support to give literally Zhongli shield. Take as an example of bell echo. It reduces damage taken, has hit limit, and give interruption resistence to some degree. And let's say there is a character like that. he does this via his skill or easy to fill burst. And let's say if another character take damage, he can fill up his energy and concerto. And ult heals a little maybe to balance that he cannot heal otherwise. And lastly his outro gives crit rate/damage buff. This character would be great support like Verina, and better in some situations. So you have reasons to pull for him. But this character doesn't make Verina useless. You can still choose either of them according to team or stats you have. Perfectly balanced but profitable character. And these are just buffers. We can even have debuffers. Def down, res down, slow enemy (spectro mc can do that already but I mean another character that does it better and focuses around it). All these characters can be good and make the game balanced still. But there is more important issue with supports. Supports without off-field attacks are becoming problem each passing character. It's more clear especially in Jinshi. Verina's ult helps her a lot. A support without any off-field presence gonna struggle a lot no matter how strong they are.
