What a great story. I knew about Dre, his music but not about his life and to this extent. I’ve been through (still am) so much these past four years and not gonna lie, the pain and hurt just seems to never go away. Every single day is such a struggle which is why I turn to my Heavenly Father and music by artists such as Dre and Marshall. Their music is my oxygen. I need it to survive. My days always begin with a prayer and listening to music which in doing so, helps to make me stronger. Dre, if you’re reading this, please know my heart goes out to you and your family at the loss of your brother and son. I can only imagine how difficult those experiences were for you. However, out of the bad, comes the good. I’m so thankful you stayed strong, never gave up and provided Marshall the opportunity when others would not. You two are superstars who, through your God given talents, help to give me the strength to survive, all while becoming a little stronger with each passing day.

"The Message" was produced by Lord Finesse. Somehow I found that very interesting.

Dre changed the game. Its funk and thats it. You can hear George Clinton and P-Funk pulsing through his beats and it created the platform for one of the greatest artistic expressions in history
@chrisshockey36815 жыл бұрын
How can you call it artistic when he's using someone else's shit?
@sonyiataiaroa13535 жыл бұрын
@@chrisshockey3681 that's just like saying Elvis Presley and Whitney Houston weren't artist because all there songs they did was covers and they didn't make there own songs
@chrisshockey36815 жыл бұрын
@@sonyiataiaroa1353 uh not even close. If you think Dr. Dre is even close to as talented as Whitney Houston u are definitely delusional. That's like saying Vanilla Ice is talented cause he stole someone else's hook line and made it a hit. I can get a rhyming dictionary and make up lyrics like that. It's not really even that hard. You should try it sometime. Smh...

Keep in mind this guy sample sounds from very old music from the 50s and 60s. He doesn't make it himself, he just does the snare and beat and applies.

People criticize Dre for perceived misogyny but I think any man who has been dealing with groupies and gold diggers who are only around for money and fame for over 30 years will have some type of internalized misogyny in them.

Everything Snoop said at the end of the video is truly happening Dre and Snoop are still together to this day they have made many hits together and they have come up with their own Gin and Juice they are pushing 60 and living the high life no pun intended Snoop lol. Dre has come a long way from NWA he has made music history and is truly an OG of his Craft. Hell Dr Dre and Snoop even have a star on the walk of Fame NWA are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This just shows you that you can come from nothing and become a Legend.
