u mentioned goata with toes in all the time.. ahaha.. yes keep up debunking it as much as u can... i still love a ton of their stuff but i stopped watching em since i grasped what they do and extracted what i need ... they need more debunking like yours here, and lesser total just raging hate
@selda2528

depending on how u hit the ground, u need to bounce off and rotate off, and goata isnt acounting for that at all... its like forgetting that people use the healstrike to stop themselves and hit hard breaks.. also if u hit really inside, u bounce and rotate off differently as if u hit outside.. and to me its all about how u can manage 2 sides of a coin, in relation to your current posture, of course.. i still belive straighter feat are better for overall mobility reasons, couse sitting in the middle of the bony structure, alows for even rotation ability towards inversion and eversion, but if u arent to extreme on one end of the spectrum, does it really matter all that much.. oh no, u improved one not really important factor, and fearmongerd about 30 different and important factors.. oh booo ho

but i still think benching is overrated and could be done with something that had oneside and then requires rotation and gets alternated between rotisory movements and anti rotation movements

I think it is safe to say with what he is doing on the field and in the weight room that Saquan is a complete beast. It's going to be interesting to see how Jalen and Saquan do against the Chiefs next Sunday.

There's always been a debate about whether your toes should be pointed in or out, but like Dane says, it's all about individual body mechanics, and both ways can be effective. We've seen SO many examples of great athletes doing both, that should be pretty solid evidence. The safest bet is to let athletes figure it out naturally, trying to force it one way or the other feels like trying to make a lefty a righty

Adama traore is basically saquon Barkley but a soccer player would be interesting to see a video on adama traore 👍🏾

Traore is an anomaly. I think of you showed 100 people a picture of him and asked them what sport he plays I would say less than 10 would say soccer.

Your comment about why aren't rugby players doing this was exactly what i was thinking being a huge rugby league fan. American football strength and speed training would definitely carry over to Rugby. I was just looking at George Kittle's height and weight stats. I can tell you that the average rugby player of the same size as Kittle is not going to be anywhere near as fast as him. And probably not as strong. In Rugby, especially rugby league, you do require more cardio fitness than American football. So they won't be able to carry as much weight as American football players. (Jordan Mailata is an example of a player that was simply too big for Rugby). But there's so much both rugby versions can learn from american football. Not just strength and speed training. But also ball carrying technique. staying low going into contact. change of direction etc. There is a huge amount of professionalism in training that the rugby codes can ascertain from American football.

Hey Dane - Chris Korfist / Tony Holler mentioned in one of their recent videos they consulted with Sequon. No more 100s until he puked, do short max speed flys. Can't recall how long ago but certainly before this season.

These guys are all very athletic and very strong. But they’re not strength athletes. Even to just have the leg strength to be capable of the sort of lifts that would *qualify* for national championship-level weightlifting meets, Barkley would need to be able to do his Powerlifting-Squat triple for a full front squat. Not gonna happen anytime soon.

he has good endurance? how do we know this? The highest metres clocked up by an nfl player by position average each game is 4x less than the lowest metres clocked by a rugby player by position average. Soccer players run even further per game on average by quite a way. I LOVE strength and explosiveness and the nfl, I actually love these attributes in fighters as well. But suggesting that every sport can put that much time aside per 100hrs of training just for strength is a little silly. Other sports require other attributes to be worked on also depending on that sport.

Barkley’s lifting is not close to a national-caliber Olympic lifter in his weight class (109 kg). To be strong enough to post the kind of total needed to just *qualify* for national championships (which doesn’t even really make someone a “national-class lifter”), he would need to have a full front squat in the range of 210-225 kg. I have never seen Barkley perform a deep squat of any kind, so I have no reason to believe he would be capable of such numbers. (A powerlifting-style squat doesn’t count, if we’re talking about weightlifting.)
