Thanks for this video!!! I’ve been going thru this with my veteran for 11 months trying to get him A and A SMC for his TBI. It took VA 5 months to deny the claim. I scheduled an HLR with IC and then hired an accredited rep to fight. He says we’ll win SMC T. Just finished both C and P exams for my 60 year old vet. It shouldn’t be this hard but I’m glad this case went the way it did. And I’m so happy for Mrs. Laska.

Well, my veteran was denied. His 2680 was filled out by his psychiatrist who has been seeing him for a year and a half. There was plenty of proof on this form, along with the civilian psych, neurology, and neuropsych records. We waited a year. Now we have to wait several more to appeal to the board, because RO can’t do their fucking job correctly. Stop the insanity!!

I wish they would do VA FAST letters so the va claims rep know to approve these claims now instead of it still going all the way to bva .. Great info . Please keep us updated on if any of your clients finally get this now...

I need help . My Diagnosed TBI injury affects me to fill it out forms, and I have short-term memory loss and so the burner leaving the burner on leaving the sink on the tub on.? The VA discriminates against me because of my TBI injury because they want me to fill out forms I fill them out and send them back here later. They denied the claim because I didn’t cross the tears and not the eyes then they refused to give me a social worker to help me fill out paperwork..

I found that VA primary care physicians will not fill out the A&A form, even after their wives write supporting statements. Is there another way to get this form filled out?

Just to clarify... if you have service co nection for TBI, you only need REGULAR a&a and not higher level a&a to receive SMC-T with this new ruling.

I was diagnosed with the TBI injury that I received in the 1991 golf war in October 2000 was never given a penny for that.

@@ST-lt4ls can’t find a service officer who knows how to file claims. I live in a third world nation called Arizona. The only things they do in Arizona is deny benefits and services just like Vegas denied veterans benefits and services.
