After 50 years of suffering from PTSD I have finally been given a 70% rating. I also have received a 10%rating for that problem with hearing ringing in my ears. I can never remember the correct name for it and I usually will call it tennisides. Close enough for me. With my brain so screwed up at times I can't even remember my own name. Of those 50 years I have probably been homeless 40+ years. Don't really know as I also suffered a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury almost losing my life. I received one check and the way things are going in this country I might not see any more disability benefits and money. What is that saying? Oh yeah 'Life is a bitch then you die'. i am client of hp... i have been using my healthevet for 8 years and now they want us to go over to va gov and i am noticing not even the pharmacy and appointments line up. if you call the pharmacy and tell them you are waiting for a refill but it is not showing the tell us oh that is ok i can see that med and it is going to be mailed tomorrow...then you go into pharmacy history and you see your last refill was discontinued and that is more phone calls. so hp lost on my supplemental and asked me to send in some info that they could not see when they look in my file at VHA. I got that in right away. My date of intent is sept 3, 2023 so hoping my atty sc and staff get a win. vets hang in there if you been denied call hp and they may be able to help you

I've had to do some damage control regarding two caregiver related claims (A&A and PCAFC HLR) that have gone missing from the VBA after almost a year of back and forth communication with the VA regarding those claims. I really suspect that the VBA is "round filing" my claims. Good thing I made copies and have kept a chronological record.

Just had an interesting situation: A Marine friend was informed in April 2024 that the court had reversed an earlier VA claim denial. Then in January of this year, the VA sent him a letter stating that the claim was in fact denied, in spite of the court's ruling. Instead of the usual denial letter stating why, with the negatives and positive findings, his gave him a phone number to call. Too bad he's now in a nursing home here in Connecticut.

I have not even filed a claim! The Army missed a heart condition in late 80s when soldier's were needed. Anyone got this lovely gals organization bc i have found not only did i have tinnitus, but mieneres disease idk what the hell that was at 1st but i lost hearing in one ear, got sleep apnea and ended up having the longest open heart surgery in history! PTSD, lots of other secondary stuff so if anyone can share what an who is best? I see va claims academy he wants $1997 to get the program help.
