This is our multilingual 🇪🇸🇳🇬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿+, multicultural, and WFPB SOS-Free family of 7 from 🇳🇬🇺🇸, living our best lives as immigrants in the Pearl of Africa 🇺🇬
In this video, we share our journey as a multilingual family of seven adjusting to life in a house that hasn't been lived in for years, complete with the challenges of off-grid living and no indoor plumbing. Our daughters bravely return to school, and we discuss the hurdles they face while navigating their new environment. As we reflect on our upbringing, we explore how intentional unlearning and learning can shape our identities, preventing us from becoming robotic and preconditioned.
We also delve into the realities of living with a blood condition that complicates our lives further. Despite the struggles, we are determined to embrace a healthier lifestyle by focusing on "Foods-That-Heal," AKA WFPB SOS-FREE. As we raise awareness about the impact of pesticides in Uganda, we’re determined to create a healthier future for our family and community.
