Nissim Black is the black-jew rapper who converted to Hasidism. His story is pretty unique, as he told me in this interview. From a childhood surrounded by crime and law enforcement agencies, through a spiritual epiphany, to a religious and family friendly life as a Hasidic jew living in Israel. #hasidicjews #extremereligion #judaism

God can take people out of gang warfare. The God. Yahweh. Religion leads many people astray and many churches have hurt many people.

This is past life related. He’s obviously been an acidic Jew before. I’ve always felt Jewish in my heart even tho I was born and raised Catholic. Sure enough I have recently found out/remembered that I was Jewish in my most recent life time and that my name was Esther and I died in the holocaust. In this life time I’m a mixed race, black and white, European woman. But no one is ready for these conversations yet. So go on, keep scratching the surface.

The ancient Hebrews, & Kabbalists, believe in reincarnation. (Maybe you already know this.). You cannot have a life in Hebrew. It is always plural. You can only have lives. (And the other holy tree in Eden is mistranslated; in Hebrew it is the Tree of Lives. There are Kabbalic concepts smack in the Hebrew language.)

I was raised Christian but I’ve always felt so connected to Judaism since I was a young child. I found out I have distant family who are Ashkenazi Jew. I don’t believe in past lives but my brother does. He saw a medium who told him I was a Jewish soldier in WW2. Very interesting but idk

I find the "if your mother is Jewish..." statement a bit off. The communities that were "lost" for a long time state that Jewishness passes down the father's line, as do other various aspects in Judaism (in culture or religion). The mother statement seems more like a conciliation (due to inevitable fatherless households that happen in all communities for various reasons) - because "if your father is Jewish, then you are too" is so obvious it never needs to be mentioned.
@yeshevishman
@yeshevishman 8 ай бұрын
It's a statement based on Orthodox Jewish law and traditions. It's basically down to the fact that historically it was easier to verify who the mother of a child was than the father.
@brynawaldman5790

I agree w the previous post . . . also; Judaism is so old some ancient practices persist in it. An example is all hunting gathering societies are matrilineal. There is also the common sense aspect to it. Ancient Jews were carted off to Europe as slaves twice; the Babylonian Conquest, & the Roman conquest. Slave owners don't separate baby slaves from their mothers, or the babies would die, but separating slave babies from their dads doesn't threaten the babies' lives.

Why is your God so weak that you need a semi-god? If you believe In a trinity, when Jesus died a god would have died so there would be a duality. Or did Jesus not actually die and only had an inconvenient weekend? If we are deserving of eternal hell and damnation, then Jesus, taking our place would be still there. The myth is illogical.
