► Across the channel we’ve covered many disappearances that seem to occur under unusual circumstances and often these people leave no trace behind at all. If you follow David Paulides and the Missing 411 series you’ll know that he talks about a subset of people, specifically those that hold a high degree of intelligence. While I can’t speak for the validity of his findings, I thought it would be interesting to put this to the test and see if I could find and have a look at scientists who have gone missing under strange circumstances. All of the disappearances you will learn about in this video occurred in various places around the world in rural and wilderness areas. Now, before we get into things I want to clarify that I don’t know if any of these cases have been previously reported by David or other researchers or if any videos exist on these people, but it is my view that they fit the Missing 411 profile points in ways that you’ll come to see; and there was a language barrier to overcome in two of the disappearances, which is always worth keeping in mind. All links to the references will be available in the description below so do check that out if you want to do some further reading after the video.
Now with that being said these disappearances all occurred under unusual circumstances or the findings were just very strange and perhaps even suspicious in some instances. From finding footprints which lead to nothing, to being missing for a period of time before being found in an area already searched and perhaps even outright lies being told. You be the judge; now let’s explore the first disappearance and to do that, we’re going to have to go back in time to 1980, China.

Hello all, I'm still putting the research together for the worldwide National Parks disappearances video and the language barrier is pretty massive so it's taking me longer than I thought it would, but in the meantime I came across scientists who had gone missing under unusual circumstances and there are some pretty strange ones with odd reporting in here so do leave your thoughts. I hope that you're safe and well and thank you very much for your support

@@whitedragoness23 Yes, if you are not alone someone can help you. Do CPR if necessary, prop you up bandage you up, give you water, keep you warm, go for help, signal to rescuers. But I can understand people wanting some alone time. There are relatively safe options for that though, retreat places where they have cabins in woods. But for some people safety is not the most important thing. Some feel a real need to be miles from any sign of human activity & remote from anyone.

Exactly it just takes getting off trail and you’re screwed. It’s weird that sometimes people search the areas and don’t find them but then there body turns up in the area, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just that no matter how thorough searchers are there are plenty of things that could conceal a body that could end up washing away or something

@@kraftwerkorange13 It can be surprisngly easy to get lost, even just by leaving the trail for a few minutes. If you need to leave the trail to take a bathroom break make a point of remembering features every few yards that will guide you back precisely. Remember that things can look very different coming to them from a different angle so look around & note landmarks.

It's like people apparently getting sick with c0\/!d, then they're released from hospital after getting better and now testing negative. You can't have it both ways. They either never had it to test negative, or the negative claim, is another lie. What they're claiming to be fact, is NOT how these things work. Plus if that was how the virus worked, then a vaccine wouldn't give long term protection. Somebody is lying.

As a response to the defecting at least. I've read many stories from north korean about soldiers or pilots wanting to secretly defect but because of the strict totalitarian regime over them, they make no "plans" to leave that include their family or personal belongings. The one I can think of was a north korean pilot who broke formation and defected towards a border state. He was later interviewed by a south korean media outlet and he's said he'd wanted to leave for years but he knew it was impossible to get out without being noticed with his family and belongings. He then said on a standard flying and formation run, he decided that defecting at that moment was the only chance that he was going to get. Obviously these aren't directly connected in anyway. But it is an interesting addition to why he would have continued the research with the government and university, if he was active and was also planning on defecting, the government would think some what the same as you and I'm sure many others in that because he had on going research with them therefore he wasn't planning on defecting. However, it could be to the contrary, he continued his studies so that he'd have less eyes on him over time. The longer hes there for and more dedicated to the regime he seems, the government will trust him and giv him a longer leash with more money. And over time he may have used that to his advantage. Just a thought.

Rest in Peace everyone that has been gone for a long time and may have died. And I hope those that are not gone are somehow safe and comfortable. I want to add that 28:00 there's only so much information that will be possible to uncover to draw conclusions from when research is being done through a computer. The situation surrounding Peng and with so many others is just something that can only be further exposed by on the ground investigation which by the way your deep dive ability simply without leaving your 'command center' is incredible. The amount of information and data you provide without I'm assuming traveling to China and interviewing 1st hand sources is again incredible great work as always.

David Paulides is a great recommendation. I did the same during the pandemic and appreciate the personal serious & fact-based delivery of his stories of those missing. His background history gives him creds like no other. The family of those missing are fortunate to have him advocating since the national parks do NOT investigate adult cases that go missing then found dead. The numbers of those who go missing in our parks is astounding.

Regarding Nathalie being down the ravine, scent hound’s can’t follow a scent easily on rock as it is less likely to “hold” the scent trail and if she has fallen down the ravine they won’t pick up her scent unless the wind is somehow blowing her scent upwards to the top of the ravine.

Today on his You Tube channel, David Paullides addressed the fact that the news only accurate about 50% of the time when it comes to reporting on these disapperances. So I commend you for trying to piece these together. In your last case, I wonder how many tourists go to that area, especially rich European and American tourists. The reason for asking is, if this area is flooded with tourists then having a news story about one of those tourists would be bad for business. However, lying about finding his body would mean the story could be controlled and those who want to control it could blame his death on inexperience, bad equipment, etc. Having him vanish would mean news stories rehashing his disapperance popping up every so often and possibly ruining the tourism.
@whitedragoness23
@whitedragoness23 2 жыл бұрын
I do believe he fell, was left there by himself as his companions went for more equipment. Then he woke up, found himself alone and absolutely no idea if he was left for dead or in a surreal situation. The other body could of been from a previous loner who past away but didn’t notify others of where he was going Or the news got their info wrong. But yes I realized how badly the news can be when it comes to reporting. A few times I would hear breaking news then they all repeat the same wrong information prematurely. Then they back track cause they completely reported it wrong just so they could be the first to report something Other times they accuse innocences of wrong doing then it’s realized the person is innocent and they erase all the accountability they have

That culture in China of hating the embarrassment to the point of making things worse by covering it up, and then being angry at the messenger, is exactly why the doctor who warned other doctors about corona virus having pandemic potential as it started spreading within China, even just in their shared group chat, was arrested by the CCP... You did a good job of explaining the cultural reasoning behind it even though it was just a passing detail in the first case. Thanks!
@Devan-he4kr
@Devan-he4kr 4 жыл бұрын
The story is often mis-reported. He was not arrested by the CPC, but reprimanded by local police. It wasn't because he was whistle blowing, but because protected health information was being shared. He understood this and told the people he was sharing the info with not to share widely. The CPC apologized for the arrest, said it was a mistake, and he is not viewed as a hero throughout China. You often see more accountability for mistakes in China than you do in Western countries. Think about how many politicians and pundits who supported the disastrous war in Iraq from both parties are still prominent.

I love your channel und videos, especially the 411 cases. But the case of Dr. Natalie Christopher was clearly just a sad accident. I have read all articels about her and there's nothing mysterious about her death. She was a sport enthusiast and avid climber. She died of serious head injurys that came from a fall from a height, there was a large pool of blood under her head. "After falling and hitting her head at the bottom of the ravine a large boulder that was dislodged during her fall landed on her hip. She felt while trying to climb up or down a 13 ft cliff along her running trail." Two days prior she posted on facebook "...bolted routes here too. Would love to come back again and climb... I think it's possible that Natalie dropped her phone or something else into the ravine and figured she could just climb down and get it, but slipped and was killed in the fall/by rocks she dislodged. I mean, I've jumped 10+ feet to the ground for fun, if I dropped something important I wouldn't think twice about climbing down to get it.

I think Natalie Christopher accidentally slipped and fell into the ravine, while running on the slippery, rain-damaged trail. I think she survived her initial fall, but her cell phone didn't work because she was in a ravine, so she attempted to climb back up by herself. Sadly, a large rock, being loosened by the recent rain, gave way when she gripped it, and she plunged back down the cliff, with the large rock landing on top of her, killing her. Her cell phone's battery eventually ran out. Searchers didn't see her at first, due to the tree and the rock obscuring her body. Very sad.

Dr Christopher .. If she was out for a run, did maybe some rocks come loose and fall on her? Lots of rain u said so it's possible. Rock slides are a hazard. And if she was going slow maybe she was unable to move fast enough or just unaware of the rocks when they fell off. That would make more sense I think than her trying to climb without equipment
@juliehobbs665
@juliehobbs665 Жыл бұрын
I think the only thing that makes sense for the 'accident theory' of Dr. Christopher's demise is that she was running on the trail and because of the large amount of rain in the days leading up to her incident, rock's above the trail has become loose and as she was running passed that area that's when the rocks became dislodged subsequently slamming into her and taking her down to the bottom of the ravine with them. Just a case of wrong place, wrong time. Stranger things have happened, right? For example, the man who was walking on the sidewalk in front of an appointment complex at the exact time a child fell out of one of the apartment's 4 story windows and he caught the child, saving its life. What's even stranger than that is; a few years later, as he was walking in the exact same place, it happened AGAIN! This was a different child who fell from a different floor in the same building and he caught and saved their life too! This is an example of the opposite nature from Dr Christopher's. Right place, right time.. 🤯

I think it's very possible that when people wouldn't stop thinking Ping's disappearance was strange, they just went ahead and implied that if he is still alive he is a traitor to his country. That way they won't care as much about what happened to him, as you say. Then they have all their bases covered. If you don't think he is a traitor, you think he just died.

Something awful happened to the woman that died on Cyprus. I don't know why exactly, but my gut instinct with this case is that she didn't end up where and how she did, because she randomly decided to abandon her run, and climb without any prior experience or gear. There's just not enough evidence, or information shared with the public, at least, to make any possible cause stand apart from the rest.

If she climbed up to get away from an animal then when she fell down it would have nibbled at her. An animal not finding a way down to eat her is likely, as is someone chasing her above or below then abandoning after seeing her fall.

I feel that we have to be open minded about subjects like this. There was a time in my life, when I said "anyone who believes in ghosts, UFOs or bigfoot etc, etc, is an IDIOT, a MORON and BRAINLESS!!!". This was a HUGE mistake on my part, as I was about to learn different. I won't go into detail, but me and my wife moved into a large house, and the price was too good to be true...need I say more? In four years, I went through things I'm still recovering from, six years later. It was only a month after moving in, before my wife and I were no longer talking, and things in every aspect of my life went down hill. In the end, I learned that I was the only one who had been an IDIOT, a MORON and BRAINLESS, and especially IGNORANT!!! I now believe many things, and try to always keep an open mind! I do believe that there is something to Missing 411, I don't claim to know what it is, but something is happening. The worst part, is after going through everything that I did in that house, I realized I had repressed many memories of the supernatural that I had experienced, and I was fiercely against the supernatural, because I was avoiding deep seated memories!!!

Love you channel. I have been binge watching your videos for a couple of days now. They do remind me somewhat of Twilight Zone (radio drama, haven't watched the TV series). I don't mean the content, but the fact that it's so hard to stop watching. The footage, especially that one of National Parks made me think that there are so many beautiful places on our planet, and I've seen just a handful of them. The stories however made me feel that it might have been for the better. : -)

Btw I am kind of thinking that with such smart educated persons going missing... Have been selected by some evil humans and taken to be cloned or maybe higher beings took them . I know it seems a bit far fetched but after so many of these cases I can't believe they would have left this earth on their own accord. And for everyone mentioned in this video I hope you can feel or see or just know that we are perplexed and saddened by these tragic tales of how you disappeared and even though we never met, we care about you. 🌹🌷⭐

I think an attack by a Sasquatch could definitely explain a lot of these (for all we know, a Bigfoot is responsible for that woman's head being crushed by the rock).. David Paulides has stated that he thinks "a certain percentage" of disappearances in the woods are due to Sasquatch, but he doesn't like to discuss this subject very often. Many sudden disappearances around groups of people have coincided with Bigfoot sightings in the area (often with it "carrying something over its shoulder"). I've had a couple of audio encounters myself (one in 2016, one last March, and one last week), and it sounds aggressive and powerful. Scary stuff..

I’m convinced that Pang defected. The search for water was his cover story. He went to prearranged coordinates at a prearranged time and met a contact. The contact staged a scene and got him out. Boom! The U.S gets a valuable human resource and Pang gets a comfortable life.

I'm wandering if there's proof that he called her an they talked on the phone an if so there cell phones would have pinged off different towers and did they find her phone on her? Also maybe he put the pillow over her head while she slept on the couch and punch her in the head causing skull fractures the muffled voices might have been what the maid heard in the room? RIP Natalie, Justice will prevail ,you are missed Beautiful Angel!

when the footprints stop all of a sudden, does it seem like the footprint was kicking as it disappeared. if so, they knew something was taking them, if not, they were unaware of them being snatched up. because if you know something is snatching you up, you will make some kind of move with your feet. or maybe, they walked into a portal? if it was a giant bird, you would be able to tell by the feet being dragged and then taken up. curious

I think it's due to channels that claimed to be his official channel, peppering videos with constant ad breaks, claiming the interview is new when it's really old to clickbait, & sites like Amazon selling his books of upwards & over $100, when buying from him costs about $20 each. He gets the flack when people complain to him about what others did claiming they are offering the public something authentic. Viewed from the other way around; Paulides is the one who looks like the douche. I'm not fully defending Paulides in all aspects; just pointing out what I've observed from 'both sides of the fence'.

But yeah, factual information is not copyright-able in any way shape or form.

I lived in India for many years. I believe it's something cultural for a group like the local mountaineering group to require a definitive result. Saving face and under the table pay-offs are common and exists far beyond ethics of twisting truths. Identication with duty and aiming to please and to produce outcomes can be all important. This group may have not wanted to be seen as ill equipped or lacking in any way. Local networking is very powerful. Just a thought amist many possibilities.
