This character reveal was monumental for Smash. Minecraft Steve was such an out there idea that **surely** they wouldn't actually do it. Yet they did, proving that ANYTHING, no matter how ridiculous, was possible. You can tell by the way a majority of people start laughing their ass off because it was so unexpected.

And no, it's not just a meme that the community made, it's one of the most popular, well-known, important and best-selling games in history.
