hello! just wanted to add a few corrections for the video: dan schneider: dan schneider was actually a producer at nickelodeon who worked on shows like icarly and victorious. he's notorious for his predatory behavior, including allegations of including his apparent foot fetish into moments of the shows he works on animation memes: animation memes are videos typically animated with original characters that follow a certain "trend" that one associates with a song/sound. people who create animation memes insert and draw their own original character and credit the "original" meme, which establishes the associated trend/movement. they were prevalent around 2017-2019. love the video btw! hope you blow up and get the recognition you deserve!

"Sound sources" actually refers to origins of sound effects from video games. Game developers could either record their own sound effects or use commonly available stock ones. There's a wiki that lists every piece of media each sound effect from a few select libraries is used in.

I think that "homebrew" is just a general term for modded content, mostly on video game consoles. Dan Schneider was the creator of iCarly and some other shows, not an actor Along with pianos, guitars are also often animated incorrectly. From my limited knowledge, "Downfall memes" are editing scenes from one specific movie called Downfall. Hey Kids is a webseries, the whole plot is that the guy running the channel is a Glados-esque robot. Memory Hole is a KZbin channel, the whole gimmick is that they went through rejected submission tapes for America's Funniest Home Videos and uploaded clips that were especially creepy or weird.

45:05 i think this entry is referring to a russian animated webseries called znakomtes, bob or meet, bob in english. it started as a simple science show on hypothetical questions like "what would happen if you jump out of a plane without a parachute?" or "what would happen if you were buried alive?" and these would be conducted on the titular character named bob and every episode usually provides facts and info on what to do in these types of situations in real life and the episodes end with bob being dead in a comical way. eventually the series would receive a fanbase on the russian side of youtube and it developed lore about how a red clone of bob is plotting to overthrow the narrator of the videos for torturing other bob clones (which would explains why bob would get brought back to life in every single episode). overtime the shows lore got too complex and boring, mainly because it was beginning to be a rip-off of rick and morty and the people who ran the channel sold it to a different channel which made the web series even worse. as of now, the series last episode was released two years ago and the last community post is from 5 months ago saying "soon..." in russian, which would indicate that it might come back? but if im being honest, this show is pretty much a dead project ruined by a creator who was kicked out of the show by the people who ran the channel. so long story short meet bob was basically russian skibidi toilet before skibidi toilet even existed edit: just saw someone saying the entry was referring that the entry is about the LHOHQ rabbit hole which would explain it. but ig the "meet, bob!" i mentioned here is also considered a rabbit hole in itself, which is interesting to say the least. but also its kind of weird that a relatively popular russian webseries would be mentioned in this iceberg 💀

The TempleOS footage is only a small part of what the channel uploads and I think the only reason why people try to connect TempleOS to the mystery is because it's the only thing that people recognise when watching the videos, but most of the other content/music/sounds that are sampled are very obscure and thus it goes unnoticed. As another person in the comments has said; Terry Davis is dead since 6 years ago, and the most recent video on global worldwide was posted a month ago so I'm not sure what basis you have for that theory. And what do you mean that you couldn't find any information about it? You can literally just search global worldwide or jimmy maximum explained and find videos uncovering the true meaning of the channel.

No offense, but quite a few things in this video are either woefully underexplained (not talking about the obvious NSFL stuff you can't talk about on here, or stuff that might spark controversy), outdated information, or just straight up incorrect. I know this isn't very constructive, so if you'd like I can list out a few examples of segments that are wrong, but I didn't want to do it if you feel that I'm just attacking you. My overall advice, given that this seems to be the type of content you want to make, is to really dig into researching each entry more next time, and even with the stuff you're familiar with just go fact check it to make sure. Otherwise it will turn off viewers who have some knowledge of some of things they see early on in the video, as they'll probably write off the whole video as being inaccurate instead of giving it a chance. I think these types of videos can be really fun and interesting, but it will always be more enjoyable when it's done by someone who understands and has passion for the topic at hand that can be felt in their work. First and foremost, I really blame the person who made this chart more than anything for not really explaining themselves (assuming that they didn't, since there were a few entries you self admittedly had no idea what they were talking about. Also I get a full explanation from the chart maker would make a video like this pointless but at the same time at least a link or two to refer to some entries would go a long way on the maker's part), and there ARE several ones where I'm kind of like, what are they referring to specifically? Like the Reddie entry...if it's really about the ship, what the hell makes it even noteworthy over all of the other ships in the world that have even weirder stuff going on? So I do think the chart is kinda flawed haha Siivagunner: Siivagunner started out as a bait-and-switch channel as you described, but it worked specifically because the channel looked like GilvaSunner channel, which was the longer running youtube channel that actually uploaded video game OST and did it before siivagunner existed. They aren't the same person. Lasanga Cat: So this one I couldn't find complete confirmation on, but I feel like there's a little more context that could be used. In the previous video before Sex Survey Results, they promoted a phone number and asked for people to state their name and how many sexual partners they've had. So the voicemail scripts are real ones left by real people, not completely random names (though obviously some if not most of them were lying in their voicemail). Lasagna Cat is a really funny and well-made series that wasn't afraid to completely go off the deep end, I would definitely check out the rest of it if you haven't already. Highly Trained Monkeys Error Page: Nitpick, but you could probably just use a youtube error screenshot that actually has the phrase instead of just one that has the same monkey drawing used in it lol Saki Sanobashi/Go For A Punch!: This one comes from two different posts: The original "Go For A Punch!" 4chan post you covered, but also a Twitter thread by a guy asking about finding a lost anime that he thinks might have been called "Saki Sanobashi." The Twitter thread is basically the second half of the story so covering it could've helped add more background to it. Nitpick, but the summary from both posts just says that they're trapped in a bathroom and, after being driven to madness, torture each other, nothing about it being underground or any external torture (outside of the torture of them being left in a room with no food of course). Dan Schneider: Kind of a bizarre entry, I guess it's supposed to be more about the internet rabbit hole discussion on him. As someone else mentioned in the comments, he was much more than an occasional actor but rather a CREATOR of a lot of live action Nick shows, including iCarly. In online circles, it had long been speculated that he had been a creep because of his frequent usage of angles and moments involving his underage actors' feet, including tweeting out pictures of their feet and asking for young fans to post pics of their feet. It was basically an open secret that he was an awful weirdo at best, and didn't really catch mainstream attention until 2021-22 because of articles with new allegations. Jennette McCurdy (who played Sam in iCarly) also refers to him in negative light in her recent memoir, basically further stating that he was very creepy and inappropriate towards the underage actors that worked under him, including herself. Tumblr Sexyman: Exposing my terminal onlineness a bit here...a tumblr sexyman is basically a weird or unconventional fictional character that gains a lot of popularity on tumblr and its fandom spaces, but it's kind of become a useless term with a lot of people nowadays just applying it to any male character they find hot. Your explanation is basically correct though, I guess my only point is that what makes them different than any other character people find hot is that they're usually very weird characters lol Komaeda Love Mail: I don't even know where to begin to try to explain this one and I don't blame you for not going into it. It started out as a positivity blog ("love mail") using the character Komaeda from the Danganronpa series as its avatar, and then eventually changed tone and turned into a surreal "shitposting" blog. It feels like a disservice to call it shitposting, as it has a surprising amount of thought and effort put into it. There are a shitton of hidden pages with secret games you can play and everything. It definitely will make no sense to someone who isn't familiar with Tumblr culture and the legacy of Danganronpa on that site (and even plenty of those who do know about that still don't really understand what's going on), but if you wanted to check it out all of the hidden pages are mapped out here: komaeda.neocities.org/portal This is just all I can remember off the top of my head haha, sorry for the really long post. Again, I blame a lot of this on whoever made this iceberg for not really explaining themselves, as some of these require having to have been in really specific online circles to know what it is about. But some of these other ones, like the Siivagunner one, were more like simple mistakes I think you could've double checked. Thank you for letting me ramble on, I hope this is helpful!

there's a few parts in this which needed a bit more research/fact-checking. here's a couple of things i noticed that i haven't seen anyone else mention: 27:25 - it was the closest approach of comet hale-bopp, not haley's comet 30:57 - phoenix games was around since the mid 1990s, but i believe the early 2010s was when their games started to gain notoriety online for their poor quality. (i had two of their PS1 "games" as a kid in the early/mid 2000s lol - "dinosaurs" and "dalmatians 2"). i'm also pretty sure they didn't have any official collaborations with disney, so the "disney's dinosaur" game you mentioned is likely their own "dinosaurs" game (where the "yee" meme originates from) which is one of the many times they partnered with an animation studio called dingo pictures (who are also notorious for the poor quality of their work). also, the video subtitles are off at a few points later on in the video, either not showing subtitles at all or showing subtitles for a different iceberg entry. but overall this is a great video, keep up the good work man. :)

Mamamax likely made up Cartoon Incorporated. Hes done all kinds of bizzare stuff to make himself look like a crazy vigilate hero. It doesnt help that there's absolutely no archive or mentions of the channel until his video.

yeah i've been slowly losing respect for him over the past few years after it started becoming more apparent that he's probably just making all this up for personal gain. and of course i understand he's bringing more attention to the topic of abuse but it just feels a bit too exploitative for such a sensitive subject
