I used to play Tekken 1, 2, 3, then thought Tekken was only a combo remembering crap... Tried Tekken 7 recently. Realized this is not what I was thinking. Trained, got to Savior rank, and now I am fucking hyped by this Tekken 8. I definitely want to be part of the community since launch of this game.

Thats the problem with Tekken historically it's had a real talent of misleading new players to think it's simple or contrived. Game doesnt really do a good job of explaining most of those n00b traps are a good way to just be bad at the game.

@@via_negativa6183 I confirmed. I was "very good" at this game back in time. Then I got older, got 2 children, and tried to get back to it. Got crushed by spammers or combo freaks. I was annoyed, but read some stuff and understood that I was playing correctly the game. Just needed to understand a few things (punishment, etc..). Once done, I went from Marauder to Savior in one week. But being 40 years old and knowing that 8 is coming, I think I will focus on 8 since day one and stop invest too much time in 7
