The "treadmill" is actually meant for dogs with lots of energy that need mora than a daily walk, the idea is you still walk your dog but they can use the tradmill to release energy when you can't go walk them or play with them outside. At least that's what I've been told about it.

I have a 10 month old nephew. Often, I look at him, then I look at my parents’ dog, and I can just see the same gears turning in both their heads. Both want supervised walks, balls to play with, food to inhale all at once (nephew tried to shove half a banana down his throat without chewing), things to break, weird shit to put in their mouths and try to eat, and they both know to look cute and beg for more food even when they don’t need it. I think I know now why we compare the intelligence of dog breeds to young children.

Apparently, there's about 10 million geese in the United States alone. (I tried to get a global estimate, or at least an estimate for the amount of geese in Ireland, but to no avail. Evidently, only the United States counts their geese.) The population of Ireland is about 5 million. So, give or take a few thousand, every Irish citizen would have to fight roughly 2 geese. If the geese flew over the Atlantic Ocean and were determined/angry enough, they probably could take over Ireland. *~Now you know!~*

we got a kitten and a pup around the same time, the pup being a lil older and grown accustomed to cats beforehand, now my cat's a lil dog like (they even play chase) and my dog will fold his paws like a cat from time to time, so i very much believe you!

One of my cats is convinced that the food out of the bag is better than the stuff in his bowl (it’s the same food). So I grab his bowl, open the closet, shake his bowl and give it back to him and he starts eating violently.

upon watching this again but actually paying attention this time, the cat being vacuumed is probably deaf. the noise is the scary part, so if you can't hear it, I imagine it's actually a pretty nice experience to be vacuumed like that. breeds that have that coloring (like Siamese and Himalayans) also tend to be deaf or suffer from premature hearing loss, the same way solid white dogs are also usually deaf and/or blind

So that “treadmill” or more commonly known in the dog industry, a slat mill, was originally used for dog fighters. But there is a group that uses it for a sport called GRC (gameness, relationship, control), granted the sport was originally designed for “pit bulls”, but now includes almost every breed out there. It is an AMAZING thing to watch and is PERFECT for HIGH drive or HIGH energy dogs. I really recommend people to go look up some GRC videos and possibly look into local GRC groups!
