This has come up on my feed so I will watch with interest. I’m a psychotherapist who is interested in astrology (I’m not an expert though). Interesting that Carl Jung would ask his sister to create the astrological chart of his patients before seeing them. He then applied psychological approaches with astrological knowledge. Always studied psychology as a 'minor' in college. It so fits with astrology, especially Jungian psychology. I'm reading Liz Greene's latest book on Jung's studies in astrology. Pretty interesting stuff.

This was lovely! I've been learning about Psychology since I was 14yo as a good 12th houser and Scorpio rising that I am, always been into Astrology as well but got really serious about learning it for the last couple of years after a traumatic event that Psychology alone couldn't explain, when I paired both disciplines, Jungian Psychology and Astrology, magic happened, it all clicked! The Red Book was a life altering read, I like to play with different schools of Astrology, not only western but also Vedic and Hellenistic Astrology, timing techniques like Zodiacal Releasing and Mahadashas, while reading Jung's work I found myself going back to his charts and seeing the synchronicities with was was happening in his life and the astrological transits at the time, when he started writing the Red Book he was going through his Rahu Mahadasha - Ketu Antardasha, it marked the beginning of his dark night of His soul, I got chills when I applied the same technique to my chart and noticed that the same period for me was when I began my very own dark night of the soul 10 years ago, I became a very different person all of a sudden, more serious, more introverted and much more spiritual than I ever been, it was mind-blowing to see the precision and accuracy of this timing technique and how profound the changes certain periods can trigger in one's psyche and Soul, hence why it's called a Spiritual Awakening, I can clearly see why Jung described it as a process of individuation, because it is, a long one, around 20 ish years according to my calculations (it reaches conclusion during the next Ketu antardasha, during the Jupiter Mahadasha). I started using this technique with the charts of all the people I know and it worked with theirs too. It's really nice to see more people talking about the link between both disciplines, because Astrology and Psychology go really well together, they complement each other perfectly!

I loved this. So many thoughts and feelings welled up within me. The biggest takeaway is at the end. To trust the unfolding of life. It makes me realize the areas of life where I feel desperate to make things happen. Maybe I can relax now and let it unfold as it’s meant to be. I’ll go walk around a in the grass now :). This is very inspiring. I will be checking out the Better Than Therapy podcasts for sure! I love the advice of connecting with the earth ... however I live in MN and for a BIG chunk of the year it's not possible to walk on the grass. I struggle in the winter to figure out how to make that connection with the earth. Any advice?

I’ve been watching her for years, and her introduction of her guest is long and lengthy. All the top astrologers go through the same with her. Maybe she thinks this is good. Renstrom storytelling is great until she breaks in with her sales pitch just when your getting into it. Sit back sister and listen with a better ear, you like her.
